  1. Hello Hollyrobyn and all, I am retaking the exam for the second time . Suzanne's first tip is to go through the Saunders NCLEX review book and do all of the quizzes in the back of each chapter. If you score less than a 75%, then you need to go back and read the content. Now, the book has about 76 chapters. After you have completed that, you need to PM Suzanne4 for the rest of the plan. I am still taking the quizzes, so I do not know what the next tips are. Look at the beginning of this discussion topic and look at her sticky she has posted. I tell you, I really found out how much i don't know by doing this plan so far. I guess it works though because everyone that has done it, passed. "God" luck to you all and God bless you and your studying. Jesus is the answer CK
  2. Bless you, Eliza Mae. You are truly a prayer warrior! The Lord is on your side and ours, too. "God" luck to you all and continue to pray for us that still have to face this beast. Let us know that you passed, cuz you will. God is good all the time and all the time God is good! Bless you all and praise His name, CK
  3. Congrats and "God" luck to all of you. Way to go! I am so glad to read that 2nd timers are passing. It gives me hope because I will be taking it again, too. Jesus is real!! God Bless, CK
  4. Hello, Alambert603, I pray that God will bless you! I know how it feels to fail and dread taking that thing again. I have to take mine again as well, but you are right, if it is meant for us to be nurses, nothing will stop us. God is in control of our destiny and we must keep the faith, that we are doing His will. I pray for you and for Cheson85, that you all will pass and be nurses in no time. But remember to take Jesus to work with you everyday and do everything in His name. God Bless! CK
  5. Hello, I took the Kaplan course, too. And yes, I failed the first time. I was very upset and didn't know what to do next. I took the test in March. I have not rescheduled yet because I want to do Suzanne's plan. I've read about so many people passing on her plan. I started it about a week ago. How long does the first tip take? I don't know how to quote yet, but you, NTPinky, said not to wait too long to take the exam, right? So when would you suggest I schedule to sit? I just want to make sure I do Suzanne's plan. Lord know's I don't want to take it a third time, that's why I want to study right this time. Please give me any advise you have. God Bless you! CK
  6. Thank you, Cheson85 I pray that you pass the boards. Claim it ! I know that waiting can cause alot of stress. As for the CPR, mine came in a yellow envelope, much darker than the ATT letter. The actual letter itself is white. It gives you the results and a break down of your performance. I don't know how it looks for those who passed. I guess it doesn't matter at that point what your weak areas were. Hope this helps and maybe someone else can help as well. I wish you all the luck and please let us know how you did. Keep the faith!! P.S. I wanted to practice in Cali, San Bernadino area, once upon a time. Where are you located? CK
  7. Thank you, Incred 06 and Mave and everyone for the encouraging words. I PM, Suzanne4 for the study guide, but have not heard from her. I understand that she is busy and all, so I'll wait. For Amy, I know what you mean, girl. It seems like the more I do the first step in Suzanne's plan, the more I find out I have forgotten a lot of stuff. We have to continue to lift each other up. We will have the victory! For those who have used the plan, what about using the Kaplan Course online review, too. I have that access as well. What is the best way to work that in with the first step in the Suzanne's plan? Through it all, I am still going to put my trust and faith in the Lord. He will come through for me (us). And I know it will happen in His own time, not mine (ours). Thanks for everything and everyone have a blessed day. I want to thank the Lord for another year. It's my 33rd birthday!!! :balloons: :smiley_aa :balloons: CK
  8. Hello everybody, I need to be apart of this uplifting forum. I resently failed the NCLEX in March and I know God is able. I can't lie, my spirits were down, but I know this is what God wants for me. Please give me some passing tips or any thing you all may have. I have been reading this forum for awhile, but have not posted much. I really love the way you all come together and encourage one another in Jesus' name. Look forward to your responses and be blessed. CK
  9. Congrats on your victory! I took the THING last month and failed. How did you study differently? I also took the Kaplan class. I was floored when I left the testing center. I knew I had failed early in the test. I did really bad and I knew it. If you can share any tips with me, please do. Thank you, CK
  10. I admire your drive and determination to make it happen. You have the right spirit. Keep on leaning and depending on Him. God can never fail! He's got your back. Just keep sending Him praises because when praises go up, blessing come down. Believe that! I take my boards for the first time on Mar 24 and I could use some prayers, too. God knows how long it has taken me to get here and I know He will not leave me now. Just like, He will not leave you. Good luck and God Bless everyone We will have victory over the NCLEX!!!!!!!!!!!!! :nurse: CK
  11. :nurse:Stacie, I know you've taken your test already and the anxiety may still be upon you until you get your results. But I want to send you a prayer as well, that all your hard work and prayers will pay off. You have to pass because you acknowledge God and is depending on Him to see you through. You have faith, too, because you are calling out to others to pray for you. And you know prayer changes things. When you get your passing results, thank and praise Him first! What God has for you, is for you. Your life is already mapped out. Continue to follow, lean and depend, praise and worship Him. Your story will be of help to others, so tell them how good He is to you. I must make a comment on Rozy's post. My grandmother always says that Scripture, "In all thine ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths". That was wonderful! It inspired me! I take my boards on Mar 24, and I really appreciate how others send words of encouragement and hope. All who have responded to Stacie's post, thank you, because you have help me as well. Please pray for me, too. God Bless. Campbell Kid God will supply all your needs
  12. Thank you so much for the encouraging words, nursemomruns. I need all the reassurance I can get. Have a pleasant night and weekend. God Bless! CK
  13. Hello, I'm new to this forum. I have spent the last two hours reading people's messages. I am just about in tears. I am so happy for you all. I have to take my boards on Mar 24. I read one and it said, people who wait 3-6 months to take the exam, may fail. That sent chills up and down my spine. I just graduated in Dec. I took the Kaplan course, but I am still terrified. I feel there is so much to review. I really don't know how to study for this thing. I think this is an excellent site. Know one really understands us, but the ones that have gone through and are going through this. I am a Christian woman and I know what God has for me, is for me. He knows how much nursing means to me. I also know that he did not give us the spirit of fear. So why am I so scared? Seems like I need to pray for courage, along with faith, wisdom, and knowledge, huh! We'll thanks for letting me vent. I've been on this computer for hours now and I have a headache. So good night and hope to hear from you guys. CK :zzzzz
