Took care of business...got what i needed! ;)

congratulations on your 4.0

how many credit hours were you taking?

if it was a full nursing school load; you're phenomenal.

my semester is not quite over; taking my last test this thursday; my grades wont be up until the 18th. I don't have a chance at a 4.0... but it will be another semester down.... 2 more after this to go to graduate!

Woo! I took my last final today, and I think I got what I needed. I'm so excited I get a few days off before the next session starts.

:balloons: I've still got my 4.0, with only one prereq to go (adv. human physiology, which I am taking this summer). I start the LPN program this fall at Ivy Tech Columbus. I then plan to bridge over to the ASN program. At least I will have all general education classes out of the way.

Yay-Me!!!!

I'm extremely disappointed this semester. :( I have my A&P II final tonight, and I'm probably going to get a B+. Many of the teacher's exam questions did not reflect lecture material and she thinks a C is a good grade. Sadly waving bye-bye to my 4.0. :( It's discouraging, as I've never studied for any course this much, and I have an MS math/physics, I'm used to tough courses! I attended a Perinatal Health conference yesterday, and was impressed when I discovered how well A&P has prepared me to listen to nursing/midwifery lectures. If nothing else, I know that I have a great grasp of the material and that will help me in the nursing classes. One of the other sections of the course got a 20 point scale, which is upsetting considering the competition and my classmates who won't get into the program even though maybe their C is actually better/equal to the other class's A. :( I've already been accepted into the program, so at least the pressure is off to maintain the 4.0 through the rest of it! Not that I won't work continue to work for A's, of course. :)

I hope everyone else is happier with their results than I am! I'm crossing my fingers for a reasonable Micro professor over the summer...

I take my last final on friday which is my a&p I final. I will hopefully finish with a 4.0 like last semester but we shall see. I will not know until monday (5-10-06) what all my grades are. Congrats to all who got 4.0's this semester!

4 classes, 3.7

I'm pleased!

I have a 4.0 too, with 12 credit hours!!!:lol2: I'm still taking pre-reqs and will be done in the fall. I expect to be admitted to the nursing program Spring 2007 based on ranking points. Congrats to everyone for making it through Spring semester.:balloons:

Congrats to everyone one a great semester. I have 3.7 with a 17 credit hour course load. Not perfect but damn good.

ladybugsea, it looks like you got a bad deal. i heard it all depends on the professor. i know you'll still be successful because you have worked so hard. congrats on acceptance to the nursing program and good luck on micro!! good luck and congrats to everyone, its hard work and everyone is doing well.

I got a 4.0 13 credit hours.......I am pleased.

Earlier I posted that I got a 3.7 for this semester. NO! I went to my algebra class last night and we were given our final grades. I earned a 'B' but the instructor gave me an 'A'. I was so shocked!!! My grade was an 86. Now, I missed the last week and a half of class. It is an accelerated algebra class. I had A's before I missed so much. The instructor knew that I missed the time because I had to go to California. My grandfather died. Even so, people all over the room were in awe that they got grades higher than they deserve. I got the idea that she inflated everyone's grade by one grade.

The instructor then told us "I'm supposed to give you this evaluation to fill out before I give you your grades, but I wanted you all to see your grades before you fill out your evaluation of me." She is adjunct and I get the idea that she'd love to get hired on as full-time faculty. Anyway, I was just so shocked by this. She also gives all exams as take-home. Is there any integrity with this class? Or, alternatively, does this happen more often than I imagine, and it's up to the instructor? This is my first semster in college. I need to know from you all if this sort of thing happens and it's more acceptable than I think. I'm just shocked.

So anyway, I earned a 3.7 this semester but I have a 4.0.
