we have about 5 select all that apply questions per 25 question test.
I really do hate these questions, how many and how often are these kinds of questions on your test.

I have to say I also hate these kinds of question. We test every week in my A&P class and out of 25 questions 3-4 be select all that apply and I get them wrong. From what I understand these type of ? Are in the nclex so I have to study harder.

We have right many when we take our tests. The only advice I've ever gotten regarding these types of questions is that when you have questions that involve select all the apply: too often not all of the answers are right and there is usually more then one that applies. I doubt this helps you that much but I know since I've been in nursing school those two little bits of information has helped me a lot. I hope you continue to do well!!! Good Luck to you!!!!

I also have these on all of our test. I am currently in GI/GU and it seems the further I get into the program, the more select all that apply questions we get. I suppose it will be helpful considering that is how boards are set up. Best of luck!!

it has to do with NCLEX prep though so...what can you do ?

We routinely had select all questions during PN school and they are definitely a harder/higher level question.
I took the NCLEX-PN yesterday and my test had 17 select all questions (I kept track on the dry erase board they provide you during the test) out of 85 questions total.
Just found out an hour ago on the BON website that I passed the exam :)

We have 3 or 4 on each Pharmacology & Fundamentals test. Both teachers have apologized for doing it. But these types of questions will be present on the NCLEX so they are trying to get us used to answering these. I'm not a fan of them at all!!!

We have the same. I understand on the NCLEX you have to do select all that apply, fill in the blank and place a dot in the area of the body that a question may refer to (It has to be exact too). I guess we're being prepared in school for the exit exam. I don't care for the all that apply because they're "trickie"!
