Not that I can remember. But I wasn't really paying attention to the types of questions during the test. I certainly didn't count how many I got of each type of question. I was too busy just trying to answer the questions. It was only afterward that I thought that I got a lot of satas.

I never heard about the last question determining whether or not you passed. At 75 questions, I didn't know how I felt. And then I got up to 80 questions and felt like I redeemed myself or something. And I passed.

The only alternative style question I got was SELECT ALL THAT APPLY. And there were SOOO MANY of those questions. I was getting mad.

And actually, I know I got the first question right on the NCLEX because the next question answered it for me. LOL.

I'm taking it in a couple of weeks. I'm curious to know when ppl say it was not that hard even when you had "alot" of SATAs. are the choices simple for example, signs/symptoms?? I hate select all that apply, b/c i am always less/over one choice

I took the Kaplan review and one thing they told us for the SATA was to take it as a regular multiple choice question. Read through each answer individually, and select it if it applies. i know this sounds silly, but it really did work. I was always terrible at them on exams throughout nursing school, but once i started reading through them more carefully, i was able to find what was wrong with the answers (and not pick them!)

Here is the thing though. I just can't remember five or six different things about one disease or process. I have tried the true or false method and covering the other options and I still either answer one too many or fall short! arrrgggg...it is so frustrating.

The last question does not determine if you pass/fail. My last question wasn't a SATA, but I definitely got it wrong. I still passed! When I took the NCLEX, I had 75 questions and 15 SATA.
