Sections break out for TEAS-V

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to share the info on the sections break for TEAS-V: how many questions in Math, Science, Reading, and English Usage in the actual test? I'll be taking it on 1/26, been out of school for 6 years! I'm so stinking nervous.

Thank you!

I just took the TEAS V test yesterday! From what I remember:

Reading 48 questions / 58 minutes

Math 34 questions / 51 minutes

Science 54 questions / 66 minutes

English 34 questions / 34 minutes

These are approximations though, I don't remember the exact numbers! You can probably contact the center in which you are going to take the test & they could answer this question more specifically.

If you haven't already, go to atitesting.com and you can purchase 2 practice test. Helped me alot. Good luck!

Im planning on taking the TEAS as well.

any advice.. what kinds of things should I expect?

did you think it was difficult. I've been hearing mixed reviews. Some say it was a bit difficult, some say it was easy!

any advice would be helpful to me.

thx!

The reading and math weren't too bad... but the science section (which I thought I would feel most comfortable) had a lot of scientific method type questions that were kinda tricky!!!

I agree. I scored overall 86 and science was by FAR my lowest. There are a lot of things I haven't seen since 8th grade science on there. I had plenty of time for each section and actually finished the test about 40 minutes early. I'm an older student too, so don't worry you will do fine!
