just a curious question.....how much would an RN BSN earn (entry level) in PA? Do you have any idea? Thanks and have a nice day!

I have to ask, where in PA are you looking at?
WilkesBarre/Scranton Area - anywhere from 18-22 an hour
Harrisburg Area- around 22 an hour
Philidelphia Area- probably the same, around 22-24 an hour
Those are the only ones I know of!
thanks. I'm actually looking at the Philadelphia area.

These salaries are for new graduates: Main Line Health which includes Paoli, Bryn Mawr and Lankanau pays $26.41, Chester County Hospital in West Chester pays $25, Christiana Hospital pays a little over $26 and Crozer which includes Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Springfield Hospital, Taylor Hospital and Delaware County pays $27.48 starting at the end of May. Crozer is also unionized.
Hope this helps

quick question everyone...if those are the starting salary rates, how much will they go up in 2, 3, or 4 years. so what would an RN be making if say they were a nurse in the operating room for like 3 years?
thanks

Where did you (both Meghan and chiynadol) find out how much those hospitals paid? Was it just from past experience/word of mouth? I'm not graduating until May but I want to get job applications out in January so I've been searching for a website that ranks nurse satisfaction levels of hospitals in the Phila area but I can't seem to find one!

Hi Fiesty- Is that starting salary for a ADN or BSN or doesn't it matter? Thank
~Rosemary
Rosemary- It is for BSN. HUP doesn't hire ADNs anymore, I think.
