I think it's a great thing to have a man forum here.

Here's a recent guy picture.

What kind of bike bro can"t quite from the photo. I ride a heritage softail.

I need to get a pic of mt old bike. I just got it out of the shop, where I had it overhauled and a new paint job and styling. Looks better than when I bought it in 1970. An old Triumph 750 " The Trident"

Runs ever so sweetly again

male RN here, sup guys?

New grad RN from Oregon here. Just took my NCLEX this morning. I hope the fact that it shut off after the minimum 75 questions is a good thing. Hopefully can find out if I passed on Monday. I've been working as an LPN since last summer. SO great to be done with f$%*! nursing school.

I wish you the best of luck with the results....good the whole thing is over I bet, I remember those days. The 75 questions is a good sign....mine shut off at 75 as well. You would have to statistically have missed over50 on the first set (so as not to ever be able to redeem yourself with the remaining 200 questions). good luck

It's nice to have a male posting here...I am going to be starting into an ICU straight out of nursing school...does anyone here have any thoughts about this move I am taking??advice??perhaps personal experience???

Hi Guys . . . how you doin'?

I started right out of RN school into the ICU, but I went thru a critical care nursing residency program at my hospital. Everything worked out for me. I wouldn't recommend it unless they have very structured training program.

Good Luck!

Hey,I am a male nursing student, working on my RN.I wish to get into travel nursing, because of the change of scenery, and pay. I wouldlike to work in ER.

To that I would like to ask you guys if y'all have heard somthing to this rumor:travel nurses may have a chance to work in Iraq :angryfire ,due to a shortage of military nurses?,working 6 month rotations, for an outragious sallery and benifits package? If any one has heard somthing to that, please let me know and your oppinions about that are welcome.James

I figured lucrative travel jobs would be in those few countries with loads of money like Saudi Arabia. I bet there is plenty of nurse volunteer work in Iraq.

Not that I have heard, but with the amount of contractors over there, it really wouldn't surprise me. As far as I know, we are not back filling Military positions in Iraq with civilian nurses. Operational concerns always outweigh the needs of the stateside hospitals so I doubt there is a "shortage" of military nurses in Iraq to support our troops.

But I could be wrong!
