RN program in Dallas

Hello everyone, I am finishing the requirements for the nursing program in Miami Dade College but I am planning on moving to Dallas soon and I want to finish school over there. Does anyone can recommend me schools to apply for the RN program. I am kind a lost at this time and would like to start applying as soon as possible.

Any information will be highly appreciated,

    There are many RN programs here in the Dallas area.

    ADN - Brookhaven CC, Collin CC, NCTC CC, El Centro CC

    BSN - Baylor, Texas Woman's, U Texas-Arlington

    Fort Worth - ADN Tarrant County CC ; BSN TCU

    Thank you for all the info ;) I found yesterday that Concorde also has the program in 16 months which is great but I don't know how good can be since hospitals don't take students from all schools once graduated

    Just a word to the wise. . .nursing school admissions in the Dallas/Fort Worth area are fiercely competitive, so you may or may not get admitted on your first or second attempts. In addition, some of the nursing programs require Texas History and Texas Government courses to be completed prior to acceptance.

    Other nursing programs in the area that have not been mentioned include Hill College, Weatherford College, Trinity Valley Community College, Southwestern Adventist University, and Grayson County College.

    Just wanted to add a brief explanation. The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board regulates/approves college programs in the state. They require Texas History/Government for all Bachelor's degrees.
