RIC Spring 2009

Has anyone else applied for Spring '09 at RIC? I hope the letters are mailed this week. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything yet.

I went to the bookstore on Monday, ready to buy them, but they had NO BOOKS! So, I went home and ordered them on half.com, they should be here any day now. I already have most of the books that are listed, because I bought the majority of them last semester. It was $750 last semester, and I spent $200 this week for the 223/224 books.:crying2:

i was looking on half.com the other night actually. Do you know how long it usually takes to receive your books? Its probably too late for me to go that route this semester but i may look into it for next.

I placed my order on Monday, and they shipped out on Tues. I am expecting them to be here by Monday at the latest! I also ordered all of my nursing supplies online at http://www.allheart.com and those should be here any day as well.

I think your gonna be good to go with those choices. Foote can be a tough cookie, you have to really keep on top of your reading and learn to follow instructions. I shouldn't do this but I will warn you ahead of time, Foote will give you an assignment on the first day that involves you following directions exactly. Be sure to read it completely first before doing anything. Good luck!

hmm..i usually have no problem following directions..but could you tell me more about this first assignment?? im curious now! lol

Well I don't want to ruin all the fun for you but when she gives it to you remember to relax and read all of the directions first before you start filling out the assignment, the assignment is really easy but people don't read the directions first and rush through it and end up messing it up. I think this first assignment really sets the tone for the whole class, Foote gives you all the tools you will need to succeed in the class if you just stay on top of the reading, study a little bit everyday and follow directions then you will be fine. ;)

I will second Chris' emphasis on following instructions first......DON'T write anything on the paper until you've read ALL OF THE DIRECTIONS! :D

Where can I check my class schedule?

Where can I check my class schedule?

Go to http://www.ric.edu

Then, online services...go to RIConnect and sign in. When you go to self service, then student center, your schedule should be right there.

Oh okay thats what I did. Mine isnt posted yet. I think its because I did the petition as a second bachelors student to take 4 core classes together. Soo hopefully I will find out soon.
