Hi to All
Like many of my friends from the PIC countries I am also in the queue to get a US immigrant visa to start a new career in the United States, but devastated with the retrogression news.
My Priority date is September 16, 2005, and NVC has completed my file and has forwarded it to the local US embassy in the 1st week of september 2006.Now my file is with the London embassy and my name is in their system. But so far I have not received the packet 4 for which I have been waiting for so long....
Anyone of you can say whether I will be affected by the retrogression? If NVC has sent the file to the local embassy does it mean that I am included in the "recaptured" 50,000 visas?
Please reply:)

Hi Daisy 253, where are you from? and which US embassy did the NVC forward your file? You should have been received your packet 4. Try to email or call up your embassy. Thanks a lot

not necessary. There has been talks of a few people in the UK who have had their file sent to the UK but are still waiting for interview dates. It is just a case of wait and see for everyone.
