I took the nclex back in may and failed after 265 questions, I retook the exam on 9/16 here in cali. and it shut off at 95 and i refuse to try the pvt. last night around 10:30 I checked the bon site and saw my name under the line that has my ip info. with registered nurse after but no number. when I click on the license, it says that it is cancelled. the first time I failed and nothing changed on the site. so did I pass? did I fail? does anyone know anyone else who this has happened to them?

I think I recall a member saying that it cancels your ip then shows active once you have passed. Please don't quote me on that I can't remember which thread it was either it was about 2 weeks ago!

They do cancel your IP after you fail the first time. It happened to me when I took it in May and failed (also in CA). I took it September 16th also. I did try the PVT just to see what it'll give me. Currently, I still have the "good pop up"... I doubt that it actually works cuz I had too many SATAs. But, you should try the PVT and see where you might be at. I used an expired card and just changed the date. Good luck to us.

Hi ~

Is there a new line item for your name that says Registered Nurse though it says cancelled? If so, this happened to me - I have an interim permit and took NCLEX 8/27. On 8/28 (evening) I noticed a new line item for my name on the BON/Breeze website and it said "Registered Nurse" though it said cancelled! I was like "what"?? Anyway, I searched on Google and posted here... and folks said they were 99.9% sure BON was updating my status, though wasn't finished. Sure enough, checked the very next morning and my status was "active". PS -- I did try the new PV trick also on 8/28 (the day before and got the good pop up though wasn't sure how reliable it was). Seeing your name as "official" on the BON is much more reassuring!

Overall, I think you're an RN!! Keep checking the BON website and your status/license should appear.
