RE: RN pay in the philippines

Hello, I think we all notice how many filipinos are working here in the US. May I ask what the pay is in the philippines. I heard it was like 500 pesos a day. I understand why so many want to come over here.

Thank you.

Ben

Hi Ben! :D

Yes, that is true. It's either less than that or a little over 600, depends on where you're located. :)

Here in our place it's only P250 per 8 hour shift if you are working only as a casual not a regular worker...

Good for you...In my caselast year, i got paid 205/day for 8 hours of work. During pay day, there would even be deductions as to health insurances. Even after i resigned coz i worked for only 5 months, they didn't even let me continue paying the insurance. It only means that what they deducted from my wage went to nothing...

You can take legal action in this case.

Hi John83!

Where are you working in Bacolod? I know CLMMRH wage was about Php 10,000/month. I was wondering if it increased, because the administration, or the government rather, was planning to increase it to Php 15,000 this year.

Hi praeclarus!

I worked at DPOTSMH/RMC, but right now, I'm part of the unemployed, hehe. :monkeydance: I'm going to apply to other hospitals; I've just applied at TDHI. No response yet so I think I'll apply to another hospital, perhaps BOLMSH.:wink2:

How about you? Are you from Bacolod too? Where are you working?

I don't know, I haven't worked in a government/public hospital. I have no idea of the current salary grades at this time. Maybe php12,000.

Well...that makes two of us. haha.. I'm also from Bacolod and I used to work at CLMMRH.

BOLMSH...Some say they're good training ground, BAMC as well. I think you need to pay a certain amount for the training though. :uhoh3:

:chuckle I think this is off topic already. :chuckle

Ever heard of 2,600 per month? Sad but true.

Really?! Hehe. Why did you quit your job? Are you still here in Bacolod?:caduceus:

I hope so. Yeah, BAMC has a training fee of php4000 and the program is called: Intensive Clinical Care Training Program. They have 5 weeks lecture and then 10 weeks of duty rotation in that program. The fee already includes all the physical exam tests.l:typing

Hehe, pretty intense on the pocket right? Hehe.:chuckle

Okay, PM me your reply.;)

Yes. I hope nursing salary in the Philippines will change for the better.

The income of nurses here in the Philippines is very low,its like in minimum. You can't buy yourself a house not even a lot. You work hard in the Hospital yet receive a small amount of reward. If only we have high salary here, I would never leave our country,my country the beautiful Philippines.I hope soon that hospital administrators and the government would increase our salary.I think if I receive high salary, even if Im stressed I will file overtime and work harder.
