Apparently this has something to do with the state. The enrollment tech said something like it wasn't their idea to redo the system in the first place. It might have something to do with the shortage of qualified nurses so they want to make sure the best get in as opposed to their old lottery system.

I'm guessing the same applies to applicants with classes in progress. I've heard from practically everyone in the nursing department that you won't make it in with classes in progress, so it would be reasonable to think that they aren't the ones allowing the students to apply.

yea but why waste their time.... *** application process closed last day of september and they wont send the letters out till mid december and they have all those people there in the office... are you kidding me?????........chaffey opened their application process early october and they have already sent out acceptance letters since last week .... RCC is an UNORGANIZED school......

I suppose you could say they are unorganized, but it still is a brand new system so I'm giving them some slack. Not to mention they offered students the TEAS test for free, which we just got the results back for a week ago. So they are handing the acceptance letters out about 3 weeks after the TEAS results are in, I don't find that outrageous.

Woohoop I got in I hope all of you did as well

Oh man now I'm nervous, I will get my letter tomorrow if you just got yours :p

Congratulations!!!!! Hopefully you can say the same for me tomorrow.

My friend and I got it via email check your email good luck hope you get in

So still no word from RCC... I am wondering if I should go in and ask, or maybe just try to wait longer. They will at least let you know if you didn't make it in right? I hate the not knowing more than I would bad news. What do you think? Do you know of many other people that have received notification? Has it all come in through email?

Well I only know my friend and I who got the email. I called today to accept the spot and they said I have to send in the acceptance form by hand that they mailed today so I still didn't get it. So don't lose hope just wait until tomorrow. Best of luck to you.

I went to the nursing department today and theyvsaid there was 700 applicants and they only took 80 . Wow

I talked with the enrollment technician and he said that they should have all the letters sent out by tomorrow, so hopefully I get good news in the mail by Monday -_-

Robinson: hopefully you get in. I turned my acceptance letter in today though because it is due tomorrow . Crossing my fingers for you.
