question about your grading scale

At my school anything below a 75 is failing. Our pass rate last year was 96% on the NCLEX and the year before that was 100%

At my school our grading scale is as follows:

96-100 A

94-95 A-

92-93 B+

89-91 B

87-88 B-

85-86 C+

82-84 C

80-81 C-

anything below that and you don't pass.

That makes me feel a little better that other schools are doing the same. It's a good idea and it really seems to prepare us for the NCLEX

My school:

100 - 93.95 = A

93.94 - 85.95 = B

85.94 - 79.95 = C

79.94 or lower and your repeating the class

And only one repeated class in the entire program, after that your out

Yep. Our school is 92-100%-A, 85-91%-B, 80-84%-C. And 80 means 80! Not 79.8%. That's a D. It makes ot tough at times, but you do adjust. I just wish my GPA would reflect the 91% B as more than 3.0, but oh well. Whatcha gonna do?

My school is the same. I want to maintain a 3.0 for grad school later, however in humanities, I got a 2.9. I did all the extra credit, was there for every class but it doesn't matter. I earn every single point and tenth of a point. At least I know I wasn't given anything only earned.

At our school a 94-100 is an A! Most of the other programs at the school go by a 90-100 grading scale. How much does that suck?

We need a C which is a 73% or higher. I believe the School of Nursing uses the University grading scale.
