Hmmm don't they have a way to order and download your transcript electronically? I dont know what a CES is. Maybe if you have an un-official transcript they will accept it due to the circumstances.

I'm in my first of immersion at a hospital that has a 50/50 partnership with HCA. So far it has been everything I wanted. Classroom experience and educator support & floor shadowing/orienting with a preceptor. I have 13 weeks total of orienting on the floor and as of right now I think I'll be ready to work alone at the end. I'm on a Medsurge floor transitioning to PCU, we are 4:1 most days, sometimes 3:1. It may be an anomaly but so far my floor seems well staffed and healthy!

I am from CA and moved to NY for nursing school and moved back to CA to try and find a job as anew grad and it was very hard! I would stay in Nevada-you can likely easily get a job where you do clinicals. Oregon might be easier but CA license is like $400 and no guarantee of a job

Hi, I got registered in NY and got my license endorsed in CA and didnt need any additional classes. This thread helped me a lot when it felt like my license would never come. 10/7- I applied in CA w livescan prints 11/8 around a month later I checked and it had my license number upper right corner instead of pending. I had started checking every day and really wasn't expecting it to happen so fast as the BON website was quoting 1012 weeks, Good luck!

hi all, the timelines are super helpful. I submitted everything with livescan electronically on Oct 7 so tomorrow will be 3 weeks. Thanks to everyone's help I got the idea to additionally submit my SSN card copy, passport copy etc and also all of my old transcripts. Does anyone have any other tips? Any recent timelines? Also what do I do in the meanwhile?? I have 6 figures of student loan debt and need to start working ASAP! Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! Long time lurker with a lot of questions. I'll admit I did not fully understand the application and only applied to MDE, my goal is to apply to DNP FNP concentration, does anyone have an idea of how challenging it is to apply and advance to those programs? If not- what kind of other programs would one consider after the MDE 15 months if their ultimate goal is FNP? Secondly, I think I missed the financial aid deadline, I filled out my FAFSA but was again confused about the additional application. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all! I got an interview for FNP 01/19/18! I'm really excited but nervous after reading last years thread of how many people that interviewed didnt get in!! Looking forward to hearing how everyone is prepping for interviews

Can anyone give advice on how to differentiate what they included in their Goal Statement versus ther short background essays? Should I include everything I want to say in the goal statement since it is "required" and the others are not? Or should I try not to overlap and have unique info in each essay? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the response! So you are saying quality over quantity? ie. perhaps in my case it is better to get SOLID letters from my current work supervisors etc versus a mediocre professor (academic) letter?
