  1. Hello everyone! Wow I'm late to this post! ? I graduated in May and this is my 2nd time applying to residency programs. I was only able to apply to HCA's Summer Cohort the first time around due to bad timing (and being busy in school!), but did not hear back from them until last week, 7 months later!! Unfortunately, I had to turn the interviews down because 2 months after graduation my husband and I found out we were pregnant so I am now due to deliver during HCA's cohort being as it has started so much later =[ They do not have a set date for the next nurse residency program, but they moved my application forward for me thank god! I applied for MH, Methodist, CHI and Harris Health's Spring 2021 residency programs. Oh, and I actually had a problem OVER writing my essays for HH so I finished them around 490 words. ? GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! ❤️
  2. Give yourself a few minutes and go back and check again. When I first checked I did not see the pop up and I instantly felt my heart drop into my stomach. I walked away and tried again and saw it. You have to hit submit after entering the CC info and then it should pop up.
  3. Congratulations y'all! I take the NCLEX-RN on the 11th! I took it to get my LVN license last year so I don't feel as nervous this time around but ... not sure that's a good thing either ? The trick worked for me last time so I'll be doing it again! So ready to get it done and out of the way!
  4. Hey guys! My enrollment counselor has received all of my transcripts so now we are just waiting on my license. I am scheduled to take the NCLEX-RN on June 11th so I should be starting classes August 1st!
  5. I was invited to one but it was just a Q&A about the program.
  6. I went ahead and emailed the recruiter after I posted on here and she responded with, "Your application is still in active status. Our original requisition was expired, so we just moved you to a more recent requisition". All is well! ?
  7. Hey everyone! I have come by a time or two to read over this thread but this is my first time commenting. I am concerned, my application status now reads "Not Under Consideration" as of May 19th, but I received a weekly touchpoint email on the 20th. Have y'all received one since last week? TIA!
  8. I used the HESI A2 Pocket Prep App and Elsevier's HESI Admission Assessment 4th Edition. They were both pretty good. I used the app daily! Also the vocabulary section is more than just what's in the book, use Quizlet also!
  9. Congrats everyone! I am so excited to get started!!! 4 months...
  10. Congratulations!! I did too!!! I shook for a good 15 minutes from all the adrenaline!
  11. Approximately 6 days!!! í ½í¸
  12. Yes it is! One week(ish)!!! I knew a girl that got in both the ADN program (she dropped) and the LVN prigram with a 78, but she did say they raised the bar on the ADN program. Not sure about the LVN program... Good luck #Giggles!!!
  13. That is a great score! You definitely stand a great chance at getting in, congrats! Mine was only an 88, but my math was 98 (which they favor) and I have taken both A&P's so I am really hoping that is enough!! I did not make the ADN program last go around which is why I applied for the LVN. You have a great chance at making ADN with that score also! :)
  14. I am not in nursing school yet, but this class was such a blast! I just took my final 2 days ago. 70-something college hours and this was by far the best class I have ever taken. It is so interesting. I honestly hated to be done with it! :)
