Hi. I’m in the first term now. The school offers a bundle of books for a discounted rate. All books in the bundle include the e book version. I purchased the bundle and quite honestly, I haven’t used the books too often. I only have used the study guide for health assessment and one pharmacology calculation book. There were some books that I had to purchase for the first term that weren’t included in the bundle, but as I mentioned, I haven’t used them much. The professors lecture off power points and that’s really all the info I’ve used for the exams. I had my heart set on having the hard copy of the books, but haven’t used them much.

@Nursepattyg I had the competency test at the IE campus on 3/21. Our group received the results just as soon as we finished taking the exam.

I received a call from Josiah of the 2+2 program. He left me a message telling me that I was accepted into the program. I’ve decided on the LVN to BSN program so I won’t be starting in the High Desert program. Good luck to everyone anxiously waiting for the phone call! The calls should be coming very soon if you haven’t already heard something ☺️??

@Queenta Daba I had my competency test on 3/21 in the IE as well. We must’ve been in the same group. Yes, everyone has the option to test out of nutrition and pharmacology Each test is $100. I am not sure if I’m going to attempt to test out.

I haven’t heard anything from the 2+2 program yet, but I’ve been accepted into the APU LVN to BSN program at the IE campus. It’s going to be a drive for me, but I think it will work out best for me.

I got called yesterday to take the competency exam for the Inland Empure on Thursday 3/21 for Summer 2019. I’m both excited and nervous!
