  1. I come from a family of nurses, from my great-granmother to my younger sister. As the only male interested in the medical field, I was supposed to be the doctor in the family, but that was too much schooling for me. Beeing a nurse helps fulfill my curiosity about the human body and my desire for helping people that are sick get better.
  2. RELAXXX!!! I had 86 questions (Aug. 2nd) and I felt bad after the exam, I tried to prepare my family for the fact that I had just failed the NCLEX-RN exam. I went home and found questions that I missed which made things worse. To my surprise, I PASSED. So I know that it is easier said then done, relax because we only remember we the ones that we got wrong. Think positive and good luck !!!
  3. Hello everyone. This is d.page, I have been an a LPN for 2 years and did the LPN to RN bridge program. I just recently passed my NCLEX-RN test (Sat., Aug. 2nd)and would also endorse the "Prioritization, Delegation & Assignment" book by Lacharity, Kumagai, & Bartz from Mosby/Elsevier. On of my instructors gave out worksheets on scenarios and I went to the bookstore and found the exact book that she got the worksheets from (I found it on my own). It will challenge you, but you will be glad you got it. Good luck nurses !!!
  4. Hello, this is d.page. I just started working at a nursing home. I am feeling slow and overwhelmed with all of the meds, but I refuse to give up. I am all ears for methods or "tricks of the trade" for quicker and more efficient med. passes.
  5. Hello, this is d.page again. I got my unofficial results from the (900) number. The first words were CONGRATULATIONS!!! I passed. Thanks to everyone for the info and support.
  6. Hello everyone! This is d.page, I want to thank everyone who responded to my question. I got the "Exam Cram for LPN" about a week and a half ago. I took the NCLEX Friday, Nov. 3rd. It stopped at 85 questions. I am not feeling to good about it, I know about five questions off-hand that I miss without thinking any further. Most of the stuff that I studied over during the last couple of days wasn't on my test. Has anyone on the site failed the NCLEX with 85 questions? Please reply!!!
  7. I take my NCLEX Nov. 3rd, does anyone know where I can get the "Exam Cram" for NCLEX-PN ?
  8. Thank you also, Vicky I used your info also. I'm sure I'll need help again through Med-Surg and Pharmacology this semester. It's nice to know I have somewhere to go.
  9. Thank you so much for the info on critical thinking, it was very helpful and I passed it on to a classmate. It's nice to know that I have somewhere to go for advice.
