  1. I've had my bachelors for a yr now and I want to go back to school for my master's. I'm just not sure what I want it in. What is the best way to go right job wise? How did you all decide what road you wanted to pursue? There are sooooo many options. I really need your help.
  2. I think you made a responsible decision to reschedule your test. Even though it was just a dog, it probably felt like family. Life will happen. My second to last semester my father died 2 weeks before finals. I took my diagnostic exit exam the same day as his viewing. I had about 3 quizes and exams even before finals. My teachers didnt want me to take them but I had to keep moving. Then the begining of my last semester I got pregnant. I had to find a way to study for my exit exam and sleep (that darn 1st trimester). You just gotta find a way to manage and adjust. Good luck when you finally do take it and God bless you and your family in this timeof bereavement. Keep your head up.
  3. You lucked out and got a job and then found out your pregnant. I'm a new grad looking for a job and I'm 7 months. They can not fire you for being pregnant, you've already been hired. You may have to save your sick and personal leave for maternity leave but you shouldn't have to worry about them firing you because your pregnant (it's illegal). Good luck with your new kob and baby. I know it will all work out. Enjoy this time and congrats!!
  4. Me 2 everyone!!! July 22nd was a good day!!! It feels like graduation day FINALLY. CONGRADULATIONS!!! time for some r&r:yeah::yeah::thankya::clpty::tbsk:
  5. I was wondering the same thing. I checked this morning and there were no results or links to "quick results.":redbeathe I just want to see it in writing so I can celebrate...lol
  6. I know two people who passed the NCLEX after getting the whole exam. It can be done, you just gotta keep the faith.
  7. I'm glad you had a good experience. I took mine today as well and got 85 questions. I tried the pearson trick and it won't let me pay so I'm hoping all holds true. Congrats again and your welcome for the prayers.
  8. thank u :):redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe
  9. Well today was the most nervous I've been since our comprehension exam at the end of nursing school. My exam cut off at 85 and when I got home I did the Pearson trick and got the pop up but I'm still a little nervous. I just want to see it officially and then I can relax. I only had 4 SATA, a ton of priority and infection control, and a 3 math questions. We'll see, I'm still keeping it in prayer. How did it go for everyone else?
  10. Tomorrow is the big day. Keep me in your prayers.
  11. With grades like that, you shouldn't be worried Just take ur time.
  12. I take mine Wednesday as well. I will definitely pray for you but I also want to give you a little thought. Don't take all the stresses that come with passing this test in there with you. :nono:If you do that, you will not pass. Leave all those problems at the door before you walk into the test center and try to keep your head as clear as possible. May God be with you and all the rest of us.
  13. Dont forget acute before chronic. Acute problems are always considered priority over chronic issues.
  14. I've used reviews and rationales, saunders, kaplan and listened to someof the hurst reviews. I have never been more nervous but I can't wait to breathe easy when its done and have a somewhat normal life for a change...lol
  15. I know about the July support group, but was just to have people who take it the same date as me be able to feel like they aren't alone on that date and have people encourage each other on a more specific level. Thats all
  16. Hey everyone, I take my test this week. I am extrememly nervous but I'm taking God in there with me and remembering that he didn't bring me this far to fail. Just thought we could all vent and encourage here. It's our time to shine :) Does anyone feel ready? How did u study? :typing
  17. You all are already RN's... u just need the paper to prove it. Good luck to u all, especially u my bestie ;-)
  18. I take it next Wednesday, and I am verrrrrrrrrrrrryyy nervous as well. The advance everyone else gave is helping me now too. You know what else I keep remembering, what's meant to be willl be and all u can do is do ur part. Kepp ur head up my next wekk crew. We can do this!!
  19. I take the NCLEX next week and after reading the messages from everyone that took it already, I couldn't be more nervous. I have been chained to my laptop and textbooks for the last... come to think of it I can't remember how long. Anyways, I just need it to be over so I can enjoy my summer and maybe have a better shot at getting a job. Pray for me allnurses and I will pray 4 u.
  20. I have applied for jobs since February and have gone on at least 4 job interviews. I even interviewed for a position only to find out that they weren't hiring for the position right at the moment. I am so frustrated. I just stopped thinking about it and have been focusing on my boards. I don;t know what else to do. A lot of my classmates are having the same problem. I am hoping that after I get my license I will have more luck.
  21. Being a medical assistant requires a different certification all together. Plus as an RN, you would in a way be demoting yourself. RN's supervise MA's.
  22. I too have been looking everywhere... all over my state with no luck. I'm really considering going to an outpatient clinic which I'm comfortable with because I was a medical assistant for 4 yrs. I really wanted to start in a hospital but the timing is just not right.
