  1. Try a Health Department in your city. Its usually much cheaper!
  2. Hello! OU's nursing program is decently hard to get into. The usual average admittance is usually 3.6 both science and overall GPA; though it varies every year. The lowest I have heard getting in is 3.3ish and will not be possible to get in under a 3.0.
  3. I used the ATI study material and found it to be just like the real test. It was worth the money!
  4. The best advice I have is to google and call schools in the area around you. You may not to be able to retake the classes but you could take more classes to raise your GPA.
  5. I just took it two weeks ago. You will need to know basic information about AP and Chem. All the content you would need to know is located in the ATI TEAS Nursing book. Also remember when buying one, that the 6th version of this test is coming out in August so you will need the new version of the practice book.
  6. I don't want to be discouraging! Honestly, I would just wait and see what the BON says.
  7. Generally, if someone has been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor they may not be allowed to take the RN licensing exam. The question of eligibility to take the RN licensing exam will be determined when the application for license is received by the State Board of Nursing. A background check will be done & if any criminal hx developed, it will normally exclude you from most jobs in the medical field. If the Felony and misdemeanor charges are expunged then it makes it a bit easier as they won't show up on some background checks, but still must be disclosed, particularly for government hospitals and the State Board. It is rare that they grant a license, but normally if they do the convictions were 5-10 years ago.
  8. I had another friend taken off the Waitlist at OKC.
  9. I have the ATI practice book for TEAS V and loved it. Practice tests are exactly like the real thing. Would recommend.
  10. The OKC campus!
  11. Hi! I have had some friends taken off the waitlist.
  12. I felt like it was much harder than the practice tests. Just use critical thinking and youll be fine!
  13. Hi! Good luck! I recently took the test and passed! I studied for about two weeks, a few hours a day. I did buy the practice book and went through it. It was very similar test questions to the practice test but the actual test was harder. Don't panic!
