Pacific Union College LVN to RN - 2020
Hi nursevaneoc, I'm wondering if you've mixed these schools up and are wondering about Pacific College's LVN to RN in Costa Mesa which has a high price tag (I looked into that one too, long ago). I attended Pacific Union College which is in Angwin (Napa Valley) for their LVN to RN (ADN) program I paid under 29k. Here is the link, go to the page, scroll to the bottom and it will have all of information. It's a great school, faculty is amazing, hybrid program, I was able to keep my full time job for the duration. Good luck on your RN journey. https://www.puc.edu/academics/departments/nursing-health-sciences/RN-education

Pacific Union College LVN to RN - 2020
Hello, I want to see how you guys were doing in the program. I was accepted this year and was hoping you could share your experience with me so far. I’m excited and nervous at the same time. I’m curious what orientation will be like and very curious about the bridge portion we have to pass. What was that like for you, how were you tested, and everything like text book or any hands on testing? Any insight would be appreciated. ? Hope you’re all doing well.

Pacific Union College 2016 lvn-rn
Hello I know this thread is a bit older, but I was recently accepted into PUC and I was wondering if anyone could share their experience. I’m very curious about the bridge program and what that was like, how intense, and how were you tested? Any insight would be appreciated that you.

No email for me either. I've sent an email to Lori informing her that I recently moved. Maybe she'll email me back with some updates. So for right now no news is good news I guess ?.

Pacific Union College - 2021
@cramirez @Nursing LVN to RN Thanks for the update. It's so good to hear from others who've applied. I haven't heard much more than you. I was told mid to end of June, but that was also back in April when I applied. One of my coworkers also applied and has yet to hear. I too have looked into Carrington and am thinking of that as a back up. I would rather get into PUC that way I wouldn't have to quit and can just work on PUC's 2 step program.

Hi @YappaYee, Did you end up applying this year? I wanted to touch base with you and see if you've heard back from PUC as there isn't much chatter on here this year. Good luck!

Pacific Union College - 2021
Hello there, There isn't a point system that qualifies you to apply. You can send in an application at any time. They decide on GPA and a few other things. I would reach out to their nursing department they're pretty good with giving feedback and answering your questions. The application on their website is filled with information as well.

Pacific Union College LVN to RN - 2020
Hi there!! First Congratulations on getting accepted. Secondly I am looking to apply next application date for the LVN to RN and was curious on what your experience is so far and the over all cost of the program. In recent years I’ve been told it was right under $20k, but have heard that it may cost a little more. Any information will be helpful. Thanks!

Such a bummer! ? I won't give up. I'm at work right now, so I'll review my evaluation and try again next year. Might actually give me some time to save extra $$$ for tuition I want to avoid loans ?. Well good luck and take care.

@BagelBomber CONGRATS on your graduation! I was wondering if you can tell me what program you attended to have evening and weekend flex hours? I too am looking for a program to attend while I work full time.

Pacific Union College ADN LVN-RN 2020 application
Nothing here either. I spoke to a coworker who applied this round too. She called and said she was on hold for almost 35 minutes the receptionist told her 1-2 weeks and about the selection process, but it's not much more than we already know and have experienced so far. Basically they eliminate any applicants that don't meet the min GPA/TEAS scores then eliminate those who don't make their preferences. Then reevaluate everything in the application; essays, letters of rec, and experience. I'm just going with no news is good news and last to know are the applicants that make it ?. So the longer it takes the more hope I have.

Very true! ? I’ve emailed them so many times prior to applying and and after I’m afraid to bug them again.

Pacific Union College ADN LVN-RN 2020 application
@aspiringrn2020 If you think it would help go ahead, but since the 30th is on Tuesday and that completes the TEAS extension we could expect our notifications soon. I think if you end up sending an email maybe asking how many applied to the program this year would probably be more beneficial. ?

For the LVN to RN program it is once a year. However I don’t know about the traditional RN program.
