No I know someone who did home health years ago and she said$25 was standard for vent and trach certified nurse due to the higher liability... I thought it was too good to be true

I work home health (private duty nursing) I hate my lack of training. I hate having a lot I down time with nothing to do(love kids but hate entertaining kids for hours). I like working alone. I hate feeling like I'm forgetting most if not all my nursing knowledge. I HATE feeling like parents judge me because I'm the only nitrate there at one time.

Just found out one of pt's family members looked up all the nurses the pt has online and what is scary is you can find most of them on Facebook and even home address online. Just FYI family member doesn't seem to be a creeper he was just curious about who he could find. The fact that he found me on Facebook didn't bother me what bothered me was that you could find out my address by just looking up my name and it was on white pages website...

I would say get through nursing school with or without him. I would say you HAVE to finish so that if necessary you an take cares of business. If you end up staying together good if not you know you can support yourself and your kids with out someone trying to control you through finances

Just think about this and if you still want to go for it. You will see everything and anything. You will see memberes lady partss and they will be in all kinds of conditions not only that but you will have to cath them. you will clean peoples briefs and give them bed baths and some of them will be twice your size and unable to help or even actively be unhelpful. You will deal with people who are veryemotional due to different situations and YOU will be responsible for pt care
