I have an interview with Baptist (Jacksonville) in a few weeks, I am curious to know what the new grad starting pay is, as I've been offered $24/hr in southwest florida with my ADN-RN. I just want to know if I should hold out to hear from Baptist before accepting.

I'm sorry. This whole application, interviewing, and waiting and waiting process is so tough. Before I thought the hard part was passing the NCLEX, but now that seems like the easy part. I would love a job with St. Joseph's as they are one of the best hospitals in the Tampa area, but I heard that they are hard to get into. Just keep striving, there are a lot of us RN's that are going through the same journey. Thanks for sharing. I have made it to the Session 2 or the interview process for Florida Hospital Tampa and Brandon Regional Hospital's GN programs. Keep your head up and keep pushing, you're not alone.

If anyone is taking the NCLEX for Florida BON, then there's a link on BON webpage for your results. It will whether you pass or fail but nothing else, it's not detailed. But it's from the actually BON website! You won't necessarily have your RN license # registered or assigned to you let, but it can take away a LOT of anxiety! What's the good pop up and what's the bad pop up? NEVERMIND... I found the info on here. So many posts about the PVT and confusing. Everyone has their own opinions on it, but for the most part seems like it's been accurate! I'll update on it later. TGIF... Have a beautiful weekend!

Lippincott has an online program called PassPoint and it's pretty amazing. They have adaptive testing that simulates the NCLEX in that when you answer correctly, it gives you higher level questions and lower level questions when you miss some. Also has practice quizzes where you can take quizzes on your weak areas. It gives you feedback on everything. After you take an exam or quiz, they give you great rationales with links to detailed pages for the topics in the question. I just found out about it on accident. I did a LOT of research online. Found quite a bit of resources, such as this site! I hope that helps some. Good luck, I love your passion and drive!
