To all Old New Graduate
Hey there! I graduate in December...all I can tell you is persistence and patience! It may get frustrating but DON'T GIVE UP! I applied at so many organizations I don't have any answer as to what may help. Show up Early to interviews, get some letters of rec from you instructors, be honest don't just say what they wanna hear (u may regret it later...long story) and again don't give up.

TGH or Florida Hospital Tampa
Bnurs, What you bring home depends on a number of things aside from benefits. Like the exemptions you claim, experience, department and hours worked. No experience med surge floor I'll guess somewhere around $1300 bi week give or take but again that's based of certain factors. Either way round I think it's a great pick (FHT). As said on here the staff is super supportive! I know this is late btw but I've been working a lot sorry!

TGH or Florida Hospital Tampa
I know TGH is a great hospital but I live FHT too. Both are supportive to staff and great teaching opportunities. Employees have to pay to park at TGH. FHT is transitioning from UCH to FHT so there's a lot of change happening...either would be great choice. I chose FHT because of location to my home, (free parking lol). Both off tuition reimbursement and great benefits (FHT benefits start day of hire) so it depends on what u want out of an employer

Florida Hospital Heartland Division
@campercass I just started the residency at florida hospital and I love it! Congrats on the position. Just remember you can always transfer to a Peds unit after you get a little experience! You gotta start somewhere.

Keiser, Everest or ???
They are accredited. Nothing's wrong with the campus! It's the people running the nursing program. If I could've transferred trust and believe I would've.

Good luck @campercass! I'm praying for you!

Keiser, Everest or ???
I attended KU in Tampa. It is fully transferable to USF and SPC (the two schools I've chosen). As far as the Tampa campus I have NOTHING nice to say...I'll leave it at that.

Florida Hospital residency Tampa
It was good but aren't they all lol!? You have provide a response to 3 case scenarios and they ask about 7-10 questions on situations that you've encounter and how you handled them but other than that it was a typical interview. My classmate just got hired there too! They move very quickly and are still interviewing so keep fingers crossed.

Baycare Peds GN program

Baycare Peds GN program
I interviewed for GN Peds a few weeks ago. And yesterday I interviewed for med surg GN. I've applied for Peds CC GN but haven't heard anything yet. I want Peds to but you can apply to adults and then transfer but the first hurdle is getting in! Interview went well I was told I would hear by the end of this week.
