  1. Hey everyone, I applied for the DNP program for spring 2020. I graduated from Dukes FNP program. Just curious how the interview questions go if anybody could shed some light on what to expect. Thank you and congrats to those who got in.I applied but I am still debating on whether I want to pursue the program or not. Thanks again Lisa
  2. Thank You for the information. This will help.
  3. I worked in IR as a nurse, left for a Pain mgmt job when I got my FNP. The IR team I use to work for has a position open for a mid-level providerand offered me a job. I have accepted it but I know this is a whole new role! Any advice would be appreciative for instance, any good ref books, I would like to know the proper way to chart an IR pt, etc.... Thank You for taking the time to read this and help me out! Have a blessed day!
  4. I will be starting clinicals as an FNP student in Spring 2016. I feel so unprepared for this and want to not look like a complete idiot. Any advice or how to prepare for this? Thanks
  5. Got an email today saying should hear from student services within the next couple weeks. They have been behind and currently updating information.
  6. The course is a 2-3 day class. It goes over content of all major systems, the questions, pointers and hintsabout nclex questions and helps you to comprehend what the nclex is looking for as far as answers. The instructor takes breaks every hour so that you are not worn out and overloaded with information. It comes with a book and a question book as well. The instructor I had was Sylvia Rayfield and she was an amazing teacher. She keep me interested the whole time. She has another partner in the program Loretta Manning. The book has pics in it to help you remember things. I found myself remembering a pic and what was going on in the pic which led me to the answer on the nclex. I bought the pharmacology book they had too, just as a refresher for the future. I am not a big fan of promoting things but this one I will stand behind. If you need my backstory and how this worked for me I will be glad to share. My email is [email protected].
  7. Take Sylvia Rayfield, nursing made insanely easy. http://www.sylviarayfield.com/nclex-rn-courses.php.... I took all the nclex classes, Kaplan, hurst, lipincott and two others.... And didn't pass but after Sylvia Rayfield, nursing made insanely easy class. I passed!!! I went to the class offered in person. A great class. I wished I would've known about it during nursing school because it would've helped too... Good luck and don't give up! Perseverance!!!
  8. I applied too. FT online.. Had interview on the 14th. Good luck everyone.
