Passed nclex-rn 2nd time
Well I gotta admit they were both difficult for me & the question type weren't exactly similar but the topics were. My 1st take was hard coz I wasn't prepared enough & it was more of recall. While my 2nd take was mind-gnawing altho I was more equipped coz the questions were mostly PDA, skills, case management & uber critical care/critical thinking. I had a really bad headache after the recent exam which probably meant I was using every ounce of brain power I had (I was aiming for 75). You got this! It's normal to be anxious but don't let it paralyze you or lose your confidence. You prepared yourself & you're equipped too! & you have time to do more practice & enhance what you already know :)

Good Pop-Up to Hold Pop-Up
I took mine last Jul 19 & got the on hold pop-up once I did the pvt an hour after my exam. I had to do the palm scanning a lot of times til the system recognized it. I waited around 65H & finally got the good pop - up & my quick results available. I PASSED! The hold could be because they're reviewing your test video or identity or credentials or just a regular random protocol verification. Based on my research here on other people's exp, it can take for 3-7 days after your exam. If you really want to know what's causing the delay, you can contact pearson vue or your BON after 3 days if you're results aren't in yet. (Just don't mention the pvt ) God bless & good luck. Just believe in yourself & patiently wait. I know the feeling of anxiety & forever wondering what's taking them so long. But nothing can be done coz you did your best already. We're all rooting for you!

I passed my nclex 7/17/2014
Congrats! I just recently passed too Indeed seeing that one word we've been fervently praying & working hard for (makes the $8 fee very negligible ) is one the best moments ever!

Passed nclex-rn 2nd time
Well, I had few resources during my 1st attempt. I took it a little too fast, 75 questions in 45-50mins. I had simple recall questions, I had a few SATAs & I panicked a bit, & I didn't feel confident at all at the start til the end. So I got the cc page using pvt. > I had Kaplan Premier '14-'15 > Exam Cram '14 > Random notes from diff sources > Saunder's Q&A but old '12 (PC Version) My last & final attempt (thank you Lord), was really different because I dedicated 150 practice questions a day up to 265 twice a wk only. Keeping tabs on where I was wrong & I didn't retake the tests I was done with so I could do more. I started getting 45% so I tried to take my time in thinking the question thru if it made any sense with my answers & mananged to get 60-80% on the next runs. I'm a really fast reader so I tend to read the question over & over to let it sink in before clicking my answer. I added this to my study regime: > Kaplan Program (question trainers 1-7, Qbank, Videos) - similar to actual nclex > LaCharity PDA (case mgt was really helpful) > ATI's procedures & skills (7 came out in my drag & drop) > CAFFEINE-FREE 2 WKS prior, I just had green tea iced tea with honey instead > I rested the day before my test & resisted last min. cramming on the day XD Hope this helps.

Kaplan Qbank Nclex Scores
Hi guys! I used the kaplan program as well in passing my exam (just found out today by the way) last Jul 19 at 2pm with 75 questions in 2 hours. I had 18 SATAs, 7 drag & drops, 2 exhibits & more of prioritization & delegation. (LaCharity's PDA case management reviewer was really helpful too). I even had lower scores than you guys in some question trainers XD So great job guys! Here are some of my tips: >brush up on procedures & skills coz they came out in my DDs >take notes of the things you didn't get right for reviewing with your practice tests :) >always focus on case management when you review so you get the whole idea of the patho of the disease, treatment plan, some meds, nursing considerations & most esp what to look out for >the Qbank greatly helped me get the feel of the actual Nclex so think through all the questions even if you're just practicing & apply whatever you know & all strategies you learned while doing so > Lastly, believe in yourself that you can do it so DON'T CHANGE your answers unless you're really sure that they're wrong. God bless & good luck guys! We're all rooting for you guys here! Hope these help!

Passed nclex-rn 2nd time
I took my 2nd test last Jul 19 & I PASSED!! My on hold pop-up changed after 65H of anxious waiting into the good one! Woot woot I think it was regarding my palm scanner that I was sweaty & had to do it a couple of times. (Good thing it wasn't anything major.) But my mom wanted peace of mind so she paid for my quick results LOL I was teary-eyed when I saw that 1 word I was fervently praying & worked hard for. GO YOU! We're all rooting for you

Conference call study buddies session 2
WOW this is a great way of studying, too bad I didn't get to do this before. I have just recently passed my nclex-rn & got the results an hour ago after 65H of waiting. I had 75 questions with 18 SATAs, 7 drag & drops & 2 exhibits in 2 hours. So I just want to add more tips for you guys. >do brush up on procedures & skills as well coz they came out in my DDs >focus on case management so you're guided in how to handle total patient care (nursing considerations, patho of disease, treatment & what to look out for most esp.) >have confidence in yourselves when taking & always think each question through even if you're just practicing so you get the feel of the actual testing exp Good luck & God bless guys! We're all rooting for you guys here!

2014 Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) Poll
JUST TO UPDATE YOU GUYS, I AM NOW AN RN :DDDD My pop-up changed from "on hold" to the good one but my mom want to be extra sure so she paid the quick results XD GOD BLESS TO ALL WAITING FOR THEIR RESULTS. Have patience & confidence in yourself!

You have already passed!
I just found out a few mins ago that I passed! I was scared coz I got the on hold pop-up after 48 hrs of my exam last jul 19... My mom wouldn't believe the good pop-up that I got so she paid the quick results for me to be sure XD CONGRATS in advance!

"On hold" pop-up
After 72 hrs finally the "on hold" pop-up has been lifted & I now I got the good pop-up! I believed I would pass, thank you so much for your words of encouragement! woot!!

Passed nclex-rn 2nd time
I took mine for the 2nd time last Jul 19 too but I got the on hold pop-up til now, I know I can never know until I'll be able to call the BON or pearson vue tomorrow regarding my result's status & I've been reading thru almost all recent pvt posts here & there just to find comfort. Failing can be a really traumatic event esp in my case coz it was the 1st time I failed in a major exam (I got my RN license in my home country before but maybe it was easier coz I was a fresh grad). CONGRATULATIONS you deserve it, I'm really happy I got to see your post since I was confused after my exam if I really got them right. But I took my sweet time too & prayed hard for guidance. Good luck on your endeavors!

2014 Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) Poll
Although I'm sure everybody else have said that you've most likely passed, I completely feel ya on the stressing part. I fear we're only causing self-inflicted worries on ourselves, so let's stay positive & find comfort in the mere fact that we didn't get directed to the CC page. But I think you have a better prognosis than me coz of the good pop-up you got!

2014 Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) Poll
Hey guys I can't help but worry :arghh:since I got the test results on hold pop-up & it has been more that 48hrs since I took my nclex last Jul 19 at 2pm with 75 questions in 2hrs. I think it had something to do with my palm scanning coz I had done a couple of times before the system made me go through. I got 18 SATAs & 7 DDs & 2 exhibits, I got a lot of prioritizations, no calculations & maybe a few simple recalls. But my SATAs & DDs were consecutive at the beginning & around the end. Any words of encouragement will really be appreciated. & CONGRATS TO ALL RNS. I'm so happy for you guys.

MY Q-Review & Kaplan Scores/2014
My readiness test was around 70%, & I just kept on practicing with more questions. I took down notes of the things I didn't get right for reviewing. Well the questions had similar topics & I focused on making sense out my answer & what was asked. I got a really bad headache after my exam, the SATAs were mostly nursing interventions & considerations related to lab values & patient's condition or situation & case. I suggest you brush up on procedures as well since they came out on my drag & drop questions. I do believe I passed (oh yeah let's stay positive) & if I do fail I'll just take again (God forbid). The good pop-up is different though coz it says "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact a member of the board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." mine was "The candidate currently has test results that are on hold" Happy preparing & good luck!

MY Q-Review & Kaplan Scores/2014
Deep breathing exercises. It really helped me calm down before I took the test. I used Kaplan, & LaCharity as well. Just keep practicing on those question trainers & aim for at least 60%. I'm sure you guys can do it! Keep us posted.

"On hold" pop-up
Yes, I feel a bit better than I did the 1st time I got the on hold pop up. I checked about 3x an hour or so & I didn't get to sleep well at all. Thank you so much for the encouragement, I think I'll sleep better tonight.

Just Finished the NCLEX for the 1st time
Congrats! Although it's unofficial yet. I took my nclex-rn last jul19 at 2pm with 75 questions in 2 hrs but I got the "on hold" pop-up. I think it had something to do with my palm scanning coz I had to do it a couple of times before the system recognized it. It was my 2nd take, I do hope (by God's grace) to finally pass this time. I'm sure you passed! So congrats again!

Pearson Vue Trick
WOW Congrats RN! I recently took my nclex-rn last Jul 19 at 2pm with 75 questions in 2 hours. I did the pvt but got the "on hold" pop-up. It has been more than 48hrs but still no change. I'm worried coz I know it could go pass or fail. I just hope my quick results would be available sooner.

MY Q-Review & Kaplan Scores/2014
Hi! I also prepared with KAPLAN's question trainers & only about 70% from the Q bank with similar scores as you. I took my exam just last Jul 19 at 2pm, it shut off at 75 questions. I got consecutive SATAs here & there (about 18 of them), 7 drag & drops, & 2 exhibits. I really took my time in answering & DBE really helped. I used the ear plugs to shut off the noise around me & it helped me concentrate. It took me almost 2 hrs. Just make sure to think every question through before choosing your answer/s, & when you do DON'T CHANGE IT unless you're really sure it was wrong. I'm still waiting for my quick results tonight but I got the "On Hold" pop-up so I'm not really sure yet what to expect. I hope my experience helps! Just relax before your exam & pray! You can do it! Have confidence in yourself!

"On hold" pop-up
Thanks! I'll ring em up first thing tomorrow if I still don't get my quick results tonight. I just find comfort in the fact that I haven't been directed to the CC page yet.
