  1. I'm in the same boat as you. I'm trying to look for the same thing but it is hard. I want to do it online because I have to work full time. I did finish all my pre requisite and ready to do it but so far no luck at all. Where do you live if you don;t mind me asking. Online is not hard I took some classes online and it is pretty reasonable. let me know if this help you.
  2. Is there anyone knows online courses for the bridge program LPN_ RN. I know suzanne said the Indiana state Univ. but there is so much requirements if anyone can help much appreciated.
  3. hi Lisa, just curious did you get in to maui community college pls. let me know. thanks
  4. hello, I'm doing the bridge program right now and work full time but I do live in the US. It is hard but you can do it the B and B plus forget about that the most important thing is the learning process. Nursing is a critical thinker there are people who graduated with honors or good grades but can't think. Well you just have to manage your time. Good luck to you.
  5. people you are making a big deal about language in jesus time everybody speaks the same lingua. But everybody wants their own way that is why we have different language now. I think we should just get along no matter what language you speak accent or with accent we still can understand each other capiz everyone. We should live by faith alone and not to be perfect.
  6. Not to worry sometimes we have no control of what we said and nothing to worry about. The best medicine is prayers. Sometimes when I cannot sleep I pray my rosary and it put me to sleep. Take care of yourself and I will include you to my prayers hopefully things will be better even though will be slow but surely eh! Take one day at the time life is too short to be worrying about little things you have a wider responsibility in life just look at the bigger pictures. Bye.....:wink2:
  7. I'm sorry to hear that. I did not mean for you though I'm just answering the question of sleepwalker found dead. It is hard to get an insomnia because hard to function in day to day lives. Well hanging there I'm sure it will be better eventually for you.
  8. Any sleeping pills I think is horrible the damage can do to your body is tremendously dangerous. But i know most of the patients in the nursing home I work take ambien and it works wonders for them and they are happy about it. So what ever feels good works eh!:wink2:
  9. What part of canada do you live. I'm very suprise that there still no jobs in canada i thought there is a shortage of nurses. anyway goodluck to you.
  10. yes, I do understand that patients need to know what is being said but, they can ask the nurse to speak slowly. Some patients are miserable and grouchhhhhhhhhhy anyway and doctor think they are higher being. Humor is medicine for the heart if this patient just try to be nicer they might be cured fast and send home.:wink2:
  11. hi the best advice i can give is go to ratemyprofessor.com there is a lot of students made comment about the teachers and she might be there. At least you can see what people write about her. Good luck to you and hopefully you get the good ones.
  12. I'm not actually leaving in canada at the moment I'm here in the US. One of the teacher that I'm taking classes made that comment at one time. I find it not cool. Also one teacher made another comment that LPN should not even do head to toe assessment in the patient because is not in our scope of practice. Is that true. If anyone can answer that question that will be good.
  13. thank you all for the wonderful reply. It is devastating at times because we are all put down maybe we should have a representative and speak to the LPN's in the board of nursing eh. Just curious if that is possible.
  14. Is anyone can answer my questions. Why do some teachers at school and some RN's think that LPN is not a nurse. I feel like we are put down at all times and can not argue with them. I;m doing my LPN- BSN program and the teachers always impying that LPN does not have the same therapeutic communication skills than the RN have ouch it's really hurt but i can not say anything because I don;t want to fight with the teachers:no:.
  15. hi thank you for your support you are absolutely right and i don't have any intention to complaint to the dean:nono. Even my friend who graduated at hpu told me the same thing. Teachers at hpu stick together and what can i do eh. Anyways i did not failed the clinical i failed that stupid video the teacher did not like me i guess. anyway what semester are you in now if you dont mind me asking. I;m just curious and one thing more we should not be talking about those teachers because they might be a member here and we might get in trouble you know.Anyway thanks again.
  16. thanks for the reply i don't think they will do something about it. The students have no voice in the university and teachers always win. I just have to repeat that class and hoping to pass this time with the right teacher. I already talked to the coordinator and told her what the teacher said and she was on the teacher side and all she said was sorry maybe she did not mean it that way. So even though I c/o nothing will be done and they might give me a hard time. Just remember they do have the power to do things and we are at the bottom that's how i feel. I'm sure a lot of students feel that way as well but can't do anything.
  17. Hello all, I go to HPU as well whatever you wrote is absolutely correct. I'm LPN- BSN I thought everything is going well for me this semester but one teacher made my life miserable. I can't believe why some teachers love to make people lives miserable. Anyway did you graduate yet. is there anyway that we can report them or complaints to the board of nursing just to straighten things out . I'm just curious. Pls. reply
