I failed today like you I have a 4.0 GPA took APEA review the test looked foreign to me.

Hi Just completed my FNP program Dec 24 at South. It is very doable while working full time until your core courses and clinicals and the last term is crazy busy but it is an okay program.

I went straight from RN tho MSN FNP. YOU DONT NEED BEDSIDE CARE. PA only needs a BS and they do the same thing and they have no experience I have done the South University Online program. Good Luck and go for it

Good luck with that a class of 31 new BSN/RN graduated in April last year and 1 has a job in a hospital And thats just one program all of the school have the same issue with JOBS for new grads I ended up teaching LVNs because they arent hiring new grads

Notification was sent to nursing schools that the loop hole has been plugged and the trick no longer fuctions it has been so for those in California you just have to wait for RN the number to generate on the board and LVN to get your letter in the mail

Congratulations I passed on June 4 and I used the Hurst review and Saunders. I focused on answering questions and alternative questions my test was mostly SATA and Priority I used the following rules in this order to find my answers. Saftey- look and see if this is a safety issue Death- Is someone dying ABCs Maslows Hierarchy of needs and remember pain is psychological so its not a priority EAT- Never delegate thing you explore or evaluate, assess or teach Hope this helps

I took the Hurst review May 22-24 in Modesto and took my NCLEX on June 4th and passed first try. While taking the test I could hear those southern accents saying " Thats not nice" "your a Killer" if you use the process they teach you to answer your questions you will pass. Most of those questions were hard things I wasn't sure about I applied the core content and listened to their voices playing back in my head to guide me. Good Luck Everyone

If you want school paid for then take the loan you been offered private loans are scarce and hard to get with out a co-signer.

I am sure you will do great I just passed on the 4th the rules I used were 1 first look for the patient that going down and circling the drain next 2 use your ABC's 3 Maslows Hierarchy of needs and remember pain is a psyho- social issue not pysiological 4. for delegation remember NEVER DELEGATE WHAT YOU CAN EAT E= EVALUATE A = ASSESS T = TEACH These rules helped me to figure out what the answer was even when I wasnt sure Also study the select all that apply there are alot of them and priority questions Good luck let me know if I can give you any other ideas

you shouldn't have to re-register. I do know that California will let you test even if your file is missing a piece they just will not give you results until it is complete. Maybe you should call them and just verify that your file is complete.

I registered after the test was just being nosy wanted to see what the site did.

I registeredwith breeze took test wwe'dthe 4th and they post license at 530 am on 7th

I test on Wednesday in California and at 530 am my license appeared on the board. I got the good message using the trick multiple times I can'taccess the poll but the trick works Good luck to those testing soon. I had a lotof select all that apply and prioritizing patients and most Of my questions focused on OB and Peds the strategy I used to answer my questions I looked for the dying patient. Then abc and the maslow

I tested today for my RN I checked the PVT and it didnt let me go to the credit card so I am hoping for good news correct that praying my question is to anyone in California that passed how long did it take for you to show on the breeze system? I am freaking out my MSN program starts in 4 weeks and I need this license for that thanks for any input

JennabeanRN are you still in the FNP program how do you like it I am thinking of starting this program in the fall but getting a little worried they already changed my admissions counselor 3 times and I just finished BSN with an unorganized school and I don't want that frustration for another two and a half years can you let me know how you like the program and classes and how is the work load do you feel prepared

Now that you have been in the program for a while how do you like it. I am in the application process as for finding preceptors I was told just find facilities that are willing to take a student and they will do the rest did you find the process of finding preceptors ok did they help you? How are the courses and work load? Do you feel like your being prepared well for this position?
