Hello! How many of you have quit your bedside nursing job or thinking about it? I currently work at a Neuro/Spinal/General Rehab facility — as many other places we don’t have enough ppr or cleaning supplies— it’s a scary situation that we all are in. I was told by my charge nurse couple of days ago that I look selfish to others if I wear 2 regular masks (cheap) instead of one.. I have to admit I’m starting to develop anxiety in my work place and I just feel worried period I just feel so worried and depressed in this whole situation.. I’m healthy no hx of anything, single, in my 40s but my parents live at home with me.. I really want to give myself a last shot in motherhood after this storm passes.. I really want to give myself that opportunity to become a momma someday. I had been taken care of myself all these years and now this happens which I am really considering to leave bedside FT and possibly do Per Diem or PT and do hospitality on the side (before nursing). thank you so much for listening! I am here for you guys too if you need to vent.. stay safe everyone!!

After seeing how nurses are being treated in the hospital setting right now— it has made me accelerate my plans on becoming a Psych NP—- I really want to know which ONLINE PMHNP do you recommend and why??? I am planning to take CRRN certification exam on June2020 —my reviewing materials I using are: “Specialty Practice of Rehabilitation Nursing" 7th edition book and CRRN Exam Mometrix study guide test preparation. I have couple of questions! 1) I have applied for NY Endorsement since 3/25/19– I would like to know how long is the process? — please can you provide me the contact phone number? 2) I have 2.5 years of Trauma Neuro Rehab / General Medicine Rehabilitation & Currently enrolled in Wound Ostomy program (be done by 4/2020): Does anyone recommend any great hospitals to work for especially for Rehabilitation or Work as a WOCN (preferably)? 3)what travel agencies do you recommend? I am hoping to take an assignment next Spring or Summer? 4)what is the right offer/package to look for? Also, can you tell me would I make more money as a WOCN or a Neuro Rehab Bedside nurse? Hello Allnurses fam! If anyone attending the EMORY WOCN program---PLEASE can you share your experience so far? I am aware of the Bridge 1 week that I must attend at Emory..Is the program ALL ONLINE? I know that each course is $1600 (total of 4 courses: Wound/Ostomy/Continence/Professional) Since I live in FL: I will need to find my own preceptors approved by Emory: Can I have WOCN team at my hospital to be my preceptors?
