I thought RN jobs were plenty in canada and NYC was overly saturated (like you stated above) so why would you want to come here? (just curious)

Hi All, I (as well as some friends/family) are considering going back to get a BSN in nursing. I, personally, can not move to another state to obtain a job and NYC is the only place I could work. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if hospitals currently hire new graduates from nursing OR will only take experienced nurses? I have seen a spare amount of programs for nurses to gain experience (not sure if this is paid or not) but I would assume they were connected to private colleges. Without having any connections, would is be possible for someone who graduated from lets say Hunter College Nursing school or even PACE (private) to obtain an entry level nursing job in NYC? Thank you in advance
