1life2live, I also took mine on March 30th and got the good pop up...took it freakin 5xs so yes i'm also waiting I hope ill get it this wednesday or next iono *shrugs*....its funny cus i did the PVT 3xs again jus for the fun of it ..... I hope il get it soon I wana spend my weekend(s) at Vegas! :cheers: .....ok leme know if u get yours.... ..@ ajbella.... i guess we'll need to keep ourselves occuppied while we wait...i'm sure we'll get ours around May-ish... or sooner who knows.. and when I finally have my official im going to post how i was able to pass my exam as well...hey I took it 5xs and I just cudnt believe it & I get nervous whenever i do the PVT and i get that good pop up.... and i'll still get nervous once i get the official results & hope to read (name)HAS PASSED.....lol ok maybe I should paint my toenails, itll get hot this weekend! LMAO

hi and :ancong!: as I read your story I dont think the ppl that work in that testing center seem be doing their job. if they didnt give you a sheet about rules & regulations BEFORE you test then what was the purpose of filing an incident report ...(any idea what happened then?) could it be just for records *shrugs* sorry im just curious. i'm glad you passed though :cheers:and just so you know you were not the only one. Here in CA I was given the rules sheet & when I took my break I took with me my wristlet with a pad & chapstick, compact lol nothing much but yes i had the girly days & no one made me file an incident report etc. Anyways I wanted to mention that a friend of mine had to take her PN exam AGAIN b/c where she tested they told her they dont have anything on file that she took her test BUT she had a reciept & all they could do is let her test again for free. Now that would be a *****,sorry, but what if she actually passed, not knowing how she did b/c they lost her test!? OMG! wow so she's still in the process of taking it agen & I pray for her that nothing like that or any mishap happen to any1 stepping in to test and dealing with people who are irresponsible. i mean it makes me cuz my friend would hav pass. I guess we just have to be careful and pray that nothing like this will happen. Again congrats and i took mine recently also but waiting for quite sumtime since im here in CA ya the snail mail lol ok take care and thanx for sharing your story.

Thanx from everyone who assured me that this trick is accurate. The agony about the wait is even in CA i noticed that if you take the NCLEX-PN you have to wait a few weeks to a month for ur official results but for the NCLEX-RN only a couple days or you get to see your name in BON in less than a week...no fair :argue: but fine gotta have patience hehe

hi Anijah Ive recently took my NCLEX PN for the 5th time on 3/30 and got a good pop up so knowing the PVT is accurate & its a sign that I pass, I'm still depending on my official results. Now I do agree on praying the St. Joseph of Cupertino because im doing that before & after i practice Qs or wen im about to take my exam. I'm not a good test taker either and i get very anxious whenever i take tests. Did you ever feel confident coming in the testing center? i've reviewed Hurst and as far as infection control practice on LaCharity that really helps. And theres one more reference I practiced on b4 my 5th (hopefully my last:uhoh21:try) is Davis Q&A..its for RN but I find it useful. I'm pretty sure you know about the mnemonic for infection control but yes i do agree with the previous post to not read into the question cuz thats what i kept doing the 1st few times. Days b4 my exam date i read over Hurst Test taking strategies,same with Davis i reviewd their strategies/notes as well..btw the Qs seem harder too than NCLEX. Theres a forum about Davis book and what ppl thought bout it thats why I decided to practice from it:D My favorite Hurst test strategy is "If you have a priority question pick the killer answer" or "if you hav a fluid problem then you have a heart problem" etc.... don't give up... I was about to postpone my test to April but i had my friends who are already nurses &allnurses encourage me to go & take it already cuz of the new passing standard for PN... i do agree when most ppl say that whatever you study wont end up in your NCLEX exam jus practice Qs etc and i read frm Davis, take deep breaths count 1-5 then 6-10 when u start getting frustrated & close ur eyes and just pick the BEST answer. I also read the Q carefully b/c i tend to read fast w/o thinking wat the Q is asking & eliminate...ok thats my Once i hav my official I'll write more of my experience thru this journey of passing this unpredictable & challenging exam! ok i gotta get sum beauty sleep jus got off a 12 hour Noc shift so btw dont forget to pray St joseph of Cupertino or try the Divine prayer it includes 9 prayers for 9 days b4 exam i think my friend wanted me to pray it but i had no time cuz i had only a week left b4 my exam, ok good luck! :)

My friend who passed her RN believed in me and she assured me that PVT is 100% accurate! My other friend whos in nursing school right now heard about the trick and tells me something else bout theres rumors that even if you get a good pop up it doesnt indicate whether u passed or not,itll block ppl from registering, started March 30th wch I took my exam on that day...iono what she talking about aurgh....i was like noooooooo! :uhoh21: I pray to God that I officially pass! Hi guys! I was also curious bout when will they post our names on the CA BON. I stopped at 123 cuz I ran out of time. I took my exam on March 30th and did PVT on April 4th and got the good pop-up. I just hope I finally passed this is my 5th time I'm not a good test taker but I felt that I was confident going in to take my test. So I hope this will be the last. Now I'm also waiting for the Official results. Oh Lord please let this be true. Congratualations to those who got their license. I also can't wait to see my name and title on my license. :cheers:

It was my 5th time taking it I was also working as a CNA while fulltime in nursing school and now a PCA while preparing for the boards. I took my test here in California so I hope this "trick" is accurate. I am scared now to find out my official results cuz my friend whos in nursing school told me that they might have block ppl from registering online since last week of March! so i'm nervous and confused that even if i get a good pop up and they block ppl from resistering online there's no way to find out if u passed or not but just wait for official results. this is killing me I really can't wait, this trick maybe accurate then but what if its not accurate now? ok I've taken my NCLEX-PN last month 3/30/2011 and its Monday 4/4/2011 and did the "trick" & just got the "good-pop up" did it 3xs already b/c I could not believe it. My test, I ran out of time and I stopped at #123 had 3 math calc, 3-4 order response, LOTS of Priority,15 SATAs, 1 picture, ...Throughout the test i did them breathing exercises and I did feel confident but a lil nervous going into the test. I can't wait for my official results and i want to know when will BON post your name if you take the PN exam? I'm soo nervous! Hi I'm glad im not the only one Im also taking the NCLEX PN and been trying to schedule myself on March 31st but now Im getting really nervous :uhoh21:and im not confident enough to take it. I work FT +36hours/week i been studying off and on since last year december. I'm studying frm Saunders LaCharity and Davis Q&A (I really find it challenging even if its made for RN) and also the Random facts/notes they have posted here really help. The last time i took the exam was late summer 2010 and I didnt get any alt Qs, no math but like 15ish SATAs and 2 same infection control Q wch I know i got wrong twice cuz my nerves got to me :throcomp: and I stopped at 85 and failed Now here I am studying again and debating whether if I should take my test again before April or after cuz yes ppl mentiond scores dont matter but I been scoring 50-60%wch is not enough. Can someone pls help should or should I not take the exam March 31st or reschedule according to my scores wch is ya that low :chair: any tips/advice i would appreciate it. I am on the same boat Ciprea, its been 3 years now, almost 4 since its already 2011 that i have Not passed the NCLEX-PN exam either & I too went to look for a job after graduating to pay off my loans since i went to private school ...i started off working PerDiem as an NA/PCA ..then fulltime after a couple months tryn to study in btwn work Just like you I go on here to look for study tips,techiniques,references, etc. Anyhoo, since you're looking for a good visual reference book I heard...if you freak out in Pharmacology.. Made Insanely Easy 3rd Ed. by Loretta Manning is good, Memory Notebook of Nursing & Mosbys Notecards..... I found them all in Amazon or you can check Ebay as well. In case you wana know I am studying from Saunders,Hurst,Pharm Insanely Easy & I just recently got Davis's Q&A for the NCLEX-RN exam 2010 edition...(its been mentioned here that its a good bk &as nurses we learn same info..i just focus on the VNs scope of practice when doing these Qs)..&last but not least LaCharty for prioritization & delegation..the rationale is helpful in this book even for VNs. ok i wish you the best of luck & we can do this & pass! I'm surprise your tutor told you to go back to nursing school, were you weak on all systems?? someone might have mentioned it before but I just wanted to know if that Davis Q&A book be ok to use for those that are testing for the NCLEX-PN exam please let me know and if theres not much RN stuff on there like delegation or management etc.. I'll buy it
