  2. I'm in Houston. Have you started to look into where to do clinicals?
  3. I am getting back into the school game also. I am taking this next few months to prep to get all As by completing the CLEP study guides for some of the classes I know I will have trouble with, to give me some background into the subjects so its not all new to me. Good Luck!!!
  4. I am in the process of going back all I have left is my A and P 1 and 2 and micro I saved those until the very end so they would not be close to expiration by the time I went to ADN school and was able to apply for BSN school. How do you balance work and school I work part time (36) hours a week and school will be part time.
  5. I want to get my MSN in Nursing Education and teach for sure, but once I complete that goal I will for sure get my NP so maybe not a MD but for sure NP and do a lot of volunteer work in the community

  8. Everyone CALM DOWN! I never said I was perfect I also never said MissLopez was not smart enough. Also for those that question me talking about being a nurse for the money, I know a lot of people that go into or think about going into nursing for the money. I was just giving my opinion on the matter of do nursing because you want to care for people not for the bucks. I believe anyone can make a great nurse if they have the heart and passion for it. I am far from perfect as you can tell from my run on sentences.
  9. I applied to just one my choice school and got in. I found out everything about the admission process and made sure I was high up on the list by doing everything above and beyond what was expected of me.
  10. First you need to stop and think about why you want to be a nurse... Do not do it for the money, Nurses work long hours and are on their feet all day. You will very rarely be sitting at a computer. Going to nursing school is much like a job you have to miss out on all the parties and having a social life is mostly a no no you will have no time, it is even worse going for a BSN. Second, you seem a little confused as to what a LVN, RN, and BSN are... You do not get a BSN to become a RN, a RN is also known as ADN and is an associates not a bachelors. You get the BSN mainly to become a manager or head nurse somewhere BSN and ADN are the same classes you just take more administrative and management courses as a BSN. and Last not to be rude, but nursing is very competitive at some schools over 1000 people apply and they take 55-80 students, so having great grammar skills is a must( you do not become "an RN" you become "a RN")
  11. Rebecca do you go to San Jac also? Are you also starting?
