  1. What the new school is saying is basically, if accepted, you start from scratch. You start over from very first year. The 3 years of classes you passed is not transferred.
  2. I had NSO. I was involved in a possible case so I attempted to contact NSO by phone, email, and their website. NO RESPONSE. I attempted to contact them several times and NO RESPONSE. Got an update that the case was stopped. At my yearly renewal for NSO, I received many email reminders to renew. I kept my money. I do not recall anyone trying to contact them for a case. I read that many obtained the NSO insurance but did any one have a case where NSO was used, or even made contact with NSO like I tried?
  3. been a nurse 5 years. Now 50 years young. I regret not doing it early, not because of my age but because I love it
  4. On a few occasions, I have been the floater on my unit and I'm proactive. So, I'll do or help the charge nurse, other nurses, cnas, chaplains, family members. However, I will decline if I see others who should be doing the work but are sitting on their orifice. I get paid nurses salary whatever hat I wear. When a unit is short staffed by cnas or nurses, working together gets the job done.
  5. 1. Littmann Lightweight II SE in school and now have Cardiology III. Fits well in the scrub pants side pocket. 2. digital watch (less than $20) with velcro straps showing large numbers both date and time in 24 hour mode as I work overnight. 3. uniball 207 retractable fine point pens. purchase by the dozen pack
  6. Have been told to get there early and wear a suit. Did both, got to my interview about 20 min early. There were 3 others before me. 2 ladies in non matching "suit" well put together. Male had dress shirt tie and jeans. Never saw those three again including at orientation as new hires.
  7. night shifter here. I try to stay on night shift on nights off. If I have errands to run, I try to do them after a shower. Grocery shopping is a breeze with no wait in lines. Sleep day time, wake up late afternoon/early eve. On nights I hit the gym, I try to take a quick power nap before hitting the 24 Hour Fitness at 2am. Again, no wait time for a machine. Go home, wind down and sleep
  8. Murse here. Love the cherokee workwear 4000 for bottoms because of the zipper and lots of pockets. Roughly $19 each. For tops, I get the matching color from allhearts generic because of the high neck line, $7 each plus shipping
