  1. I plan on wearing jeans or capris with a t-shirt most days to school. Sitting in class all day I'm going to be comfortable. I will dress nice on orientation day though.
  2. I have my orientation on August 13th, and the first day of class it the 19th. I still have to order my background check online. I'm not sure about our clinicals yet, I just know they are one day a week.
  3. The nursing school I got into this fall the minimum is a 3.0, but most people that get accepted have at least a 3.6. Nursing school whether associates or bachelors is very competitive. You are still very young, and have plenty of time to improve your gpa. You would be surprised the average age of those in nursing school.
  4. Do not feel that you are to old. I was surprised how many older students were in my classes. I am 30 and will begin nursing school this fall. I do not regret a day going back to school.
  5. I have to have my CNA before I start nursing school in the fall. My school offers a two week intersession for it.
  6. I got accepted this fall and my gpa is a 3.84. The program I got into goes by a point system.
  7. I agree with the others, you can do anything if you put your mind to it. I personally wouldn't take Chem and A&P together. It kind of also depends on what your commitments are outside of school.
