  1. Sounds like you're doing pretty good, keep it up! I'm currently taking Nutrition, Chem, Human Development, Intro to Nursing and religion. I'm mostly worried about Chem and I'll see where I'm standing next week when we take our first exam. We also have our first exams next week for nutrition and human development. The quizzes have been good so far. I need to keep up with all the reading though, I'm falling behind. I honestly feel a little overwhelmed about the competitiveness of my fellow pre-nursing classmates and about keeping high grades. But that's what it's like anyways right?
  2. Hi everyone! I'm new around here...well not really, it's just that I have officially become a member and am no longer a lurker I have been admitted to attend BYU in Provo, UT this Fall. The nursing department accepts applications to the nursing program both in the fall and winter semesters. I was planning on doing all my prerequisites in my first semester and apply to the nursing program to start in the winter semester. These are the classes I would need to take this fall (these are the only prereqs needed to apply): Chem 285- intro bio-organic chemistry NDFS100- Human Nutrition Nurs180- Preview of nursing PDBio220- Human Anatomy (w/ lab) SFL-Human Development Nurs102- medical terminology It would be 16 credits total. I would really appreciate some advice on this. Is this nuts? Impossible?doable? I'm married and have a two year old at home, so how would the difficulty of the classes, plus the workload, plus the fact that I have a family to take care of work out (in your opinion)? Should I just take a whole year instead of a single semester to get the prereqs done? I would love to hear what you think! Thank you!
