Why not go for your BSN since you've already qualified for Chapter 31? Get it done now while the VA is covering your tuition, books, stipend, etc. Just a thought...

That's completely dependent on the school. I know at UNLV you can go straight from BSN to NP classes. I'm 39 and just starting towards my BSN with an end goal of NP as well.

Absolutely. I'm just starting my pre-reqs but understand that I may have to move to seek employment. The market will be different next year and the year after. Those experienced nurses will have to hang up the cleats at some time.

Is it possible to start taking summer classes this summer as a freshman or do you have to wait and start in the fall? I'd like to knock out a few pre-reqs if I can and I'll also be taking a few at CSN to try to get ahead of the game.
