What to expect on first day as a CNA?
Well, how did it go? I live in a state where you must be and LNA or a caregiver. I had my first clinical for LNA class and I felt completely run down and overwhelmed and it was only four hours! I know in my heart this is what I want for my life, there's no greater satisfaction. I just have to get acclimated to the situation. I am terrified but also cannot wait for our second day on thursday.♡

A&P -- just have to share my excitement!
Great job! Im taking A&P 1 as well this term and really excited to ace it and look good for applying to nursing schools and whatnot. Im doing so well, the instructor has offered to write a letter of recommendation for me for Nursing School! I was elated. She also teaches at the college that I am planning to apply to! I hope the semester continues to go really well for you! :)

Advice on 1 year contracts
Be sure to check if either place has tuition reimbursement and what the rules of it are! Good luck!

hope to be a lpn, bad at math
I am in the exact same boat! When I took the entrance exams, I got 110 on reading, 97 on comprehension, and 79 in math, which is way better than I thought! It's important to remind yourself that this isn't easy, but you CAN do this. Try khanacademy.com to practice, it's free and extremely helpful. Make sure to take advantage of every opportunity you can get to get help understanding. Keep trying, and remember you can do this!!

Who's taking summer courses?
I ammm! I have nutrition and a class the college makes everyone take, Dimensions of Work. 10 weeks lefttt! Our Nutrition instructor didn't know the class was only 12weeks, not 15 so the syllabus is all messed up and so are the classes, but it's a great class!

All pre-nursing students!!
I am taking some classes to get credit for when I start LPN classes next fall. I was hoping too start this fall, but didn't get my paperwork in in time. Hopefully doing this will make my application more competitive in the sea of applicants! However, for 6 credits, it's nearly 2.5k... One semester, two classes and they told me the college I plan to transfer to is more expensive... sooo anxious...

what to do if you dont have ALL materials
it could go either way, either they will not allow you to go to school or more than likely they won't allow you to do clinicals without immunization. to be safe though, DO IT ALL IMMEDIATELY. its definitely to your benefit to get them done before school then you can be focused on school work and reviewing the day's notes.
