  4. Do you know of any websites.......? That was sort of the question lol
  5. Are they any online practice exams for nursing school entrance exams?? Teas, etc.
  6. I am so confused. How does a school not count transferred courses? What's the point of a "transfer student"? Or did I miss something? One F should not give a gpa of 0. Unless I'm not understanding the entire situation. What do you appeal?
  7. I have actually heard nothing but bad things about Chamberlain. I am not sure why. I suppose it is looked at as the "mcDonalds of nursing schools". I have asked several nurses and they told me that Chamberlan is looked down upon and they are mostly out to make a profit so they will take anyone.
  8. Thanks everyone for the help!! I understand it now. I feel better haha
  9. Thanks you guys. So is the point of origin where it attaches to the trunk? I guess I am confused in closer or further from WHAT?
  10. Can somebody please explain to me what these terms mean in plain English? I cannot seem to grasp this.
  11. Actually I have 3 hours of lecture one night and 3 hours of lab the next night! So far it's all PowerPoint!!
  12. Hi everyone! I start A&P tomorrow night and I'm just wondering what I should expect with the lectures and lab. Is there a lot of videos/games/group work etc? Should I record the lectures? I haven't been in college since 2005 and I'm slightly nervous. Eeeeek
  13. I used to visit Bradley when my friend went there! It's nice!
  14. I got mine from Barnes and Noble! Mines. Cheapy $5 one but there's some wonderful ones there!
  15. I've heard not good things about this school. I would def look into other options. Here in Chicago it's not a preferred school, although popular, some of my nursing friends told me employers are weary of chamberlain.
  16. I bought a coloring book and have been studying and coloring it for the last month or so. My class starts 1/14. I think it's helping!
  17. This thread helps me too, thanks! I second the times new roman 12 pt font. And definitely double space!
  18. That was supposed to show a smiley face idk where dds31 came from?
  19. I am! ? I start January 14th and I'm super nervous lol
  20. Elkpark- thank you that is so helpful! That was my train of thought as well but I didn't want to assume! Sopranokris- thanks for the info! I guess I'm just being a nervous wreck because I'm afraid ill be older than a lot of the students. I'm 27. But from what I've been reading on this site, it's normal!
  21. Thanks for the response! It IS in the nursing program and it will transfer from the community college! Just was curious to see what the difference was or if they are the same with one having a fancy name lol I haven't been in college since 2005 and I'm soooo nervous lol
  22. Hi everyone! I have an AA degree that will transfer bc of an Illinois articulation agreement with the colleges here. However, I never took college algebra, just a pre algebra class. I'm now starting at a community college to do science pre reqs but cannot enroll in Traditional Statistics bc I don't have college algebra, but I can enroll in Statistics for the Health Sciences without it. So I'm wondering what the difference is. Both transfer to my school of choice as a pre req for the nursing program.
