I'm in the same boat, open to all preceptorship possibilities. Have you found anything interesting in CA yet?

Psych RN wants to move to OR, Oncology or ER
Truly seeking advice here. 7 years as Psych RN and just resigned. Time off to get my BSN and now I'm ready to move on. My bedside skills are rusty, and I desperately want to move into a new specialty but every job I apply to I don't get hired. Open to doing a residency at this point. I'm high energy, and motivated, not a burned out RN, just sick and tired of psych. Your helpful thoughts are much appreciated!

Documented note for a coworker RN
In our very small unit, we work as a team generally. My coworker clocked out after a change of shift admission and did not write an admission note. I wrote a very brief one based on my knowledge of the patient from team discussion. I am now being accused of falsifying documentation by my DON, and am meeting with HR and union rep in 5 days. Please help if you have any thoughts!

New Grad just hired, need help stat!
I am a new grad RN with a BA (anthropology). I have been offered my first job, right down the street from my house at a Long-Term Care facility with 92 beds, noc shift, float. I was offered the new grad starting pay of $25/hr, and am disappointed, but need some REAL advice about today's pay for a new grad. I do not live in an unusually high-cost-of-living metro area. I will be asking about differentials when I meet with HR. Thank you!!!!
