In addition to what The Commuter said, it all depends on where you work (as in the actual place you work). For Instance, my cousin is a MA at Kaiser and makes $26/hour (but everyone knows it's hard to get into Kaiser)

How many of you guys took the practice test first in the back of the book, found their weak points and then studied their weak points? Did you find this helpful? Did you pass first round?

Thanks guys for all the advice. But the class is actually getting better, its just the first week that was hell. She uses powerpoint, which helps a lot because she will explain the topic in depth and use powerpoint as a guide

I tell people I want to become a Nurse and they turn around and say, "why don't you become a doctor? It's way more money" ......Its not in my heart to be a doctor. I want to help&take care of people, not for they money. I dont think you can truly...

Obviously they will not be a good nurse, if they just want the money.

Of how many people get A's in prereqs but dont do that good in the nursing program and the B students are the ones that do better in the program. Dont work youself if you cant get that A.
