I actually got into ABSN for UMass Amherst so I think I'm going there starting Fall 2012. I was hoping to get into StonyBrook since it's closer to home but alas it was not meant to be. Good luck to you sproutandbean :)

Best of luck southphilly_chic! Also it's not always about the grades (although the grades are important). If you can, try to volunteer at a hospital or clinic setting. It will further increase your chances of getting into a nursing program.

I got into one accelerated BSN program that is out of state and I'm still waiting to hear back from three more that's in my state. I understand how you feel! I hope you get a favorable response soon :)
