I'm thinking about changing my plan...
So I was just going to take the pre-reqs that the school I want to go to recommend and attempt to transfer when I was done. If everything went according to my plans I would be starting Fall 2013. But I've decided I'm gonna get my associates from my community college and take as many pre-reqs classes as I can while I'm there because it will cost me less money in the long run. I guess I made this decision because I got a C in my A&P1 this past semester. I know I'll be taking this class over to get a higher grade. I feel like the more classes I take that are part of the nursing curriculum beforehand and get a good grade in the better chance I have to get in... So now my goal is to work on starting nursing school in the fall of 2014...

A&P 1 what would you do?
So I got a C for course. I passed, but that isn't good enough. I talked with someone at Drexel today and they said they recommend taking it over as well. So I will be taking the course over at a later date. I'm still going to take A&P 2, but now I need to figure out when I can actually take A&P 1 again...

A&P 1 what would you do?
Thank you guys so much for your help! I take my final tomorrow so if after the final I get a B for the class I'll take that. If I get a C I will seriously consider taking the class over. I'm hoping to get into Drexel's nursing program. As of right now I don't have a GPA lol because I'm just starting my pre-reqs but I don't want anything less than a 3.5 when I finally apply!

A&P 1 what would you do?
If you got a C in A&P 1 would you retake it to get a higher grade? I'm just thinking about my overall GPA in science. Any thoughts?

A&P 1 Lab Partners
[color=#ee82ee]so today was my first lab where my lab partners and i actually worked as a group. it was a stressful experience, because it seemed like none of us really knew what was going on lol. so at the end of class i said to them we need to do better next week, myself included! it bothers me that the seats we're in will be our seats for the semester and that the lab counts for 15% of our overall grade. as of right now (2weeks in lol) i feel as though i'm a solid student by myself, but i'm not sure how my lab grades will be if i continue with this group. with that said it was only our first lab working together as a group and i can't count them out yet. but i hope next week we can do a lot better, because i'm trying to get an a.

Any Pre-Nursing students working full time or know anyone that is working full time?
Hi, I'm currently working two part time jobs, raising a 15 month old child, and taking 4 classes this semester. I'm taking A&P1, English 101, Psychology, and Math 017. I think it's completely doable if you're willing to do it. I am determined to do well and not let anything or anyone stop me. Luckily even though my son's father and I aren't together he accomadates my schedule so we share our son lol I get him the first half of the week when I have less class and work. He then takes him for me the second half of the week when I work longer shifts and take more classes in one day. In order to give myself flexibility I am taking one online class which is my English course. You just have to find what works for you and get into a rythym. With the help of my family and my son's father I'm able to do what I need to do. I hope this helps :-)
