  1. There are 2 professor****... We might have to differentiate- professor **** and professor ***. But, I am in with ****
  2. I'm not sure where you live, but some of the OU testing centers are open on Saturday. I have taken proctored exams this way. The program is totally doable, even with the challenges of the face to face stuff. We can't blame OU for changing the requirement, since it was forced on them. I am not ecstatic about it, but I am kind of looking forward to a project that means something to me for 4600. I can help you read your DARs. Or, there is a video on OU's RN to BSN page, under forms and resources. PM me if you need help. Once you get it you will be fine.
  3. This class was a lot of work, more than any other, but, I got my best grade as well, so, maybe I made it harder than it needed to be.
  4. Did you take the quiz? I am stressing, because I am on such a crazy schedule this week.
  5. I interpret it as the home health care group is moving in 1 month and was just notified of a TJC visit in 3 months. They probably have a lot going on that doesn't include anyone else...
  6. The Business Communication class is spread out over a semester, so is very doable. Depending on the instructor- one Prof F has DB posts due earlier than we are used to, but assignments are grouped in 2 week sets, so not bad. EBP wasn't bad, except for the quizzes. The first 2 weeks were bad, but in week 3 we figured out that the study guide was truly a study guide. Plus there is extra credit, so you can make up the points from the early quizzes.
  7. There may have been a few questions on one of the quizzes that were stats related, but the definitions were in the book as well. No calculations of statistics, only definitions. I took stats in 1990 something as well. No worries...
  8. For Summer in the BSN completion there are 2 courses, both by Prof F, but 2 different Prof Fs(SF and MF). Has anyone heard of Prof MF? If so, any idea of how the class is?
  9. I chuckle a little, as none of them seem as bad now that we are done with them. The absolute worst class I have had so far was 4520-Assessment.
  10. Explain what you would need to do to make it EBP.
  11. Yes, the extra credit points are added to your grade, but the possible points do not change. So, the extra credit gives you the chance to get 250 points, out of 240 possible.
  12. I'm in as well- guess we need to start a thread...
  13. Anyone look at week 5 DB post yet? It says to go to AHRQ, review the EBP clinical reports, then choose 1 topic and read the summaries from 3 reports. Only some of the topics have 3 reports, and most don't have summaries. Am I overthinking it?
  14. Go to the RN to BSN Knowledge Center- Click on either Online Bachelor Completion or Academic Outreach Initiative Students. You will see a link that says order books. All of the books for the nursing classes are listed there.
  15. I won't be done though, ADN, BSN,MSN...
  16. I got my registration date- now just waiting for the RN to BSN courses to be posted... Hopefully my last semester
  17. I agree. Not all programs are alike, but coming in to an online program, There is an expectation that I assume partial responsibility in the teaching/learning of any course. So far I haven't experienced a situation in which I had to just "figure it out".
  18. They do have an RN to MSN- I wish I would have discovered it a year ago...
  19. Ken- I love your pic- its way better than honey boo boo...
  20. I did both assignments, the Internal validity and the levels of measurement. The levels of measurement was harder, as I had a hard time getting the information in the book to make sense. I am still concerned about the last 2 weeks though, and still wish we knew the value of quizzes, db posts and assignments. If I do the math right- the quizzes are worth 12%, which is 60% or 144 total points out of 240. But, the last quiz is only 20 points? So is it still worth 12%? The DB are worth 4% each for 20% total, or 48 points out of 240. So, that leaves 20% for the assignments. I'm hoping that the week 5 quiz is worth less points, so that the assignments are worth more. The quizzes in this course might keep me from getting an A...
  21. I also have difficulty understanding why we do DB posts if there is no discussion involved. I would honestly love to have some real discussion with my classmates. I think that would help us to bring some different views.
  22. I would love feedback as well, although I know OU no longer has the Nursing administration MSN online. I would love to stay with OU, but not sure that FNP is my thing.
  23. I think we all needed that quiz as a motivator for the rest of the course. At least if our quiz grades don't improve, this will help.
