I live close to LA but went to nursing school in San Diego. You can try The Grove and do some shopping while you wait. There's also a farmer's market near there :-)

Just an update- I interviewed today and I asked how many they were planning on hiring and they said they weren't even sure! But they have already contacted a few applicants back to tour the unit this week and meet some of the nurses on the floor.

if we get a call and picked units from both sites, do we always have the option of choosing which site we would like to interview for or do they choose for us?
Here's what I found from past threads on Cedars starting pay: Base rate $32.50/hr for BSN, night differential $7/hr, night weekend differential $9/hr. MSN will have a 3% higher in base rate
should we be listing our cumulative GPA or nursing school GPA only? I'm worried now because I've been writing magna cum laude - overall GPA, rather than my nursing GPA. I don't want to come across as misleading in my resume...

Yes... I think it shows a lot that we're investing so much time and money in getting these certifications... sugarlips- hope they get back to you soon and they just made a mistake on their end... did you apply right when the application opened?
