If your doing your readings ahead of time you will find out your probably won't even need your text books unless it's for a project of some sorts. Lecture is a time where you should be listening to the teacher. Not flipping through numerous text books, you'll be doing that at home. ??

Haha that's nursing school for you! Make sure you do read everything, but break it down so your only reading like 20 pages a night or so. You'll notice when you read before the lectures it makes it ALOT easier.

Short answer is maybe you can be a registered nurse. But you'll have one hell of a time trying to explain all this to a potential employer. They would just shoot you down once they do their background check and hire someone with a clean record. I know people who are RNs that can't get job because their employers won't hire them because of a DUI. There are FAR to many people they can pick without the baggage of a criminal record.

Burglary, Grand Theft and drug charges? I'm sorry man but even if you were able to take the nclex and become licensed your not going to be able to explain all of that when an employer finds about all that on a background check. They will just hire someone who doesn't have a wrap sheet. Sorry

One word "Kaplan" that's all you need to do. And if your weak on content they have hours and hours and hours of content videos! That's the only thing I did for the NCLEX RN and I passed at 75. ??

73.5% in the RN program I finished. and 100% med math with 4 retakes of you needed them.

I agree the SATA questions are way easier then Kaplans!

I believe qt 5 is 65% qt 6 is 60% qt 7 is 60% Hands down qt 7 is a great indication if your success rate on the nclex. It has the same percentages of question topics you'll see. And it's 265 questions. I broke it into two tests. Don't tell Kaplan. Lol

Those scores are great. Go slay the nclex! I got pretty much the same scores and I flew through the nclex questions. They were lot easier the. Kaplan. It stopped right at 75! Good luck!

I'm a graduate from ccbc's RN program. Microbiology is an easy class. I did the evening 12 week class

I highly recommend Kaplan. I did all the Q trainers and 100% of the q bank. When I sat for the nclex I thought I was doing Kap questions. The screen kaplan uses is the same screen as the NCLEX which made me feel very comfortable. I finished at 75 questions. Even towards the end of my exam the questions didn't seem as tough as the Kaplan questions!

It worked for me. Had 75 questions. As soon as I got my phone I tried to re register. And it wouldn't let me. On a side note I know 5 people who failed and it took them to the credit card page.
