Go to that link and it will bring up a page with a few options to click, you click on the 4th option down that says "nurse license verification". It will take you to another web page. On the next webpage scroll down and there will be 3 options to choose from... nursys e-notify, QuickConfirm License Verification, and Nurse License Verification for Endorsement. You are going to pick the middle one that says QuickConfirm License Verification. It will say look up license.

I was reading your post and you have a very similar story to me. I just got my LPN license in June 2018. I also work as a CNA at a VA hospital, but in TN. My VA just had a job fair last month and I applied for 2 positions. But I did not get them. I'm guessing because I am a brand new nurse. I knew a couple of nurses were leaving on the floor I work on (a community living center) so I went to the outside to get a job and also get experience. I found a nursing home that was willing to hire me. They gave me credit for my CNA experience. So that helped with the pay. I also just found out that I got a job at the VA on the floor that I work on. The only thing is that the VA doesn't pay LPNs as well as the outside world does.

I have been a CNA at a VA hospital in TN for 9 years. I am now transitioning from CNA to LPN at the same VA. I will say that it is a whole different world. You have the real world and you have the VA world.

It worked for me. Gave me a little piece of mind.

Did you try the PVT trick yet?

I took my NCLEX PN on June 26th 2018. I think the Mark Klimek's audios helped me look at the information in a different way. So I would say that they helped me. I also did Hurst review. I passed with 85 questions. Good luck

I just took my NCLEX on June 26th, 2018 and passed. I did the Hurst review and about a week before my test I listened to the Mark Klimek audios. I think those audios really helped me with a new way of remembering things. Good luck with your NCLEX. :)

I am currently in the Hybrid program. You self teach a lot.

I guess people decided before hand that the hybrid class wasn't for them. But honestly I don't know. We lost one a week in, not sure why. I haven't talked to her.

It's ok. I'm ready to get into clinicals. We go Mondays and Wednesdays from 8am to 2:30 pm. We do tests on those days and do skills check offs.

I'm not sure. I know we had like 20 people at our orientation. But on the first day of class we started with 10 (supposed to start with 19). But now we are down to 9. I will tell you I am 4 months in and it is not easy because with the hybrid class you are mostly self taught.

I just started in January so I don't have much insight. But I am a CNA as well so I will say that when you are doing skills be sure to do it the way that they teach you. Try not to do the bad habits you pick up as a CNA.

I just had one done for school. My doctor checked my vitals and eyesight. Made sure I had all the shots I need to start school. Made me hop on one leg. Really simple.

It is Monday and Wednesday from 8 am to 2:30 pm. But when you get into clinicals it is 3 days a week. I'm not sure what days those will be on. Those days are 8 hour days. They said clinicals can start between 5:30 am and 8 am. It just depends on where we are going I guess.

I will hopefully be taking the Hybrid LPN program at Tennessee Technology Center in McMinnville. With this program I go to class two days a week during the day. I am not sure how they do the clinicals though.

I am waiting for my approval/denial letter as we speak. The deadline was 10/28. They said it could take up to 2 weeks to hear something. I hate waiting for anything. So I'm on pins and needles.
