  1. So, I graduated and got my LPN license in August 2018. Yep, brand, spanking new! Here's the thing.. Finding a job with no previous experience has been hard. Most want experience! I have tried presenting my clinical experiences as "experience" and in a few cases, this works; however, most are not impressed. Currently, I work at the VA hospital as a nursing assistant. I have applied for an LPN position here - any LPN position here as a matter of fact. I have interviewed with a group from the CLC (community living center) within the VA and am anxiously awaiting their decision. In the interim, I am applying to other facilities outside the VA without much success. Question: Where did you apply as a new LPN and how long did it take you to find meaningful employment? I am concerned that I won't find anything close by. I have applied to nursing homes as well. I live in Little Rock, AR. I appreciate your thoughts here. Thanks.
