  1. well in the pass i had cna interviews, but long story short i took it last time did not pass and did not take a retest; after 3 moths i retook it and passed and now i am trying again. i just opened up my schedule to all times, anyways what they ask you. first thing is first you will interview with 2 people, generally the don and the nurse manager or hiring manager(aka hr) as last time what the don or hiring manager asked me was what dose race stand for(that one is important). they will ask you scenarios with the resident and yourself and what you will do, on top of ur regular interview questions like; times u can work, etc and you also talk to a an actual nurse and they will ask you about like b/p question and like respiration how long and etc. i dont know where you live so it might be a very different to where i live, but i believe that would be a majority. good luck in your first job interview(for at least nursing homes)
  2. it can be scary first time, I was more nervous first time; but now I guess the scene is more better in sync with myself in a nursing home
  3. I did fail my first time for my written test and for some reason I didnt take it for the 2nd time till 3 months later and than for some reason I retook it and than passed it with a little amazement, as far as the skills test we got it validated at school so I got pretty lucky there if I may say so myself.
  4. I dont know if I want to engrave mine
  5. i wonder why the ear pieces where just missing
  6. congrats from what I know when I asked my CNA when I did my rotaions she said we do rounds and check diapers and change them in they are soiled, but that is far as I know; maybe I can be wrong.
  7. it seems alot of ppl like the Caribbean blue with the rainbow head
  8. i like a rainbow head, but not so sure about the tubing color; I am still going to think about ti
  9. I am going to think about Caribbean Blue with the rainbow Finish or All Black which one do you think is better?
  10. well no it didnt work like that for me My clincal skills test was taken at school by the verification of my teacher, one so that no could realli fail; I mean they could but less chance. so its been about 5 months and i also took my written at my college but it was like any old written exam so I got lucky in the skills part
  11. yea thx for yall all input
  12. well being a CNA is realli great, I think if i cant get a job for the mean time I will go back to school for my clinicals and all that Thx for all your input, makes me even appreciate CNA more
  13. nursing home is the best place to start to bulid up exp than we can move to hospitals. So look into nursing homes or even rehab centers even tho thos are harer to get in without exp because they are faster paced than nursing homes, so they want a bit of exp.
  14. i mean a cover letter much helps you get a job, but just as much another person without one could have gotten one that another one did not have. Everything helps as far work exp/non-paid, volunteer
