Every manager is different, what specialty are you interviewing in? they offer about a three month orientation period with rotations to diff specialties.

I also moved from out of state to Fl but I had some home health nurse experience and didn't realize how hard it would be to find a hospital job. I literally applied almost all of Fl. Number one thing is securing a job before moving, start applying in Fl and where you live and go from there.

Does anybody know salary, differentials, overtime, orientation?

I agree with you!!! How can you generalize a company with hundreds of facilities and they are all horrible!! Its all about the experience you receive which can be negative even in the best hospitals in America!

Does anybody know the date they will post the next internship?

Just out of curiosity do you have previous experience as an rn?? And i did have an interview with them more than once and infortunately didnt get it, for one of them the clinical educator thought i was a cna there but i wasnt so i learned to not take it too personally when they didnt choose me. but they were all diff and typical questions why this floor, bidmc and they ask some situational question, good luck stay positive!!!

Hi, I am interested in family lives homecare in ma as a per diem position and was just curious on the starting salary and training provided, etc....

From experience I would start applying for any job in a hospital because when I was in school I applied to several hospitals and did not get a chance to get a job as a cna on time and had a hard time finding a nursing job after. I know several ppl that were secretary, receptionist and other jobs within the hospital and just transferred to cna jobs and some straight to nursing right after. I would start applying and if you dont find anything then start applying to those cna positions when in school. Good Luck, hopefully by the time you graduate there are more jobs!!

Since most ppl found something already from may graduates hopefully less ppl applied!! I chose MICU as a first preference, hopefully i can get an interview!!

I am a new grad and went to the parkland medical center website and did see a position for pedi and women but it did say that prior med surg experience is required?? Are new grads welcome just in some specialties in the hospital? -thanks
