  1. No I am not doing step up, I'm in Las Vegas and we only have the regular RN program. How long will it take u to finish?
  2. I hope you all who got excepted will enjoy it and get ready for reading, reading, reading, and more reading?! I'm not in SD but I'm pretty sure all Kaplans are the same.
  3. Henderson, NV
  4. We are in the same boat pretty much. I just found out too, but I don't graduate until march 2014 and baby will be due this September. I work also part time as a cashier and school full time. You should be fine, does your school have any set rules regarding being pregnant while in nursing school and how long your allowed to be out??
  5. So I'm assuming you're wanting to go for nursing yadomaru?? If so, are you going for lpn or adn?
  6. They are going to be done this month. I saw them the other day in class preparing for the NCLEX exam. I'm not sure if its the first class or if they wait for a couple of more classes to graduate. Either way I hope they all do well.
  7. Did you ever start a CNA course?
  8. @ saldridge yea i like it I didn't do the first term because I had transfer credits but the second term Is just boring me right now because I'm doing college algebra and academic strats. I'm almost done with term 2 and will be going to term 3 in February. I'm just ready to be done with school already.
  9. Hi all I go to Kaplan in Las Vegas, and it's also 18 months like the one in Florida. For me it's only like 13 1/2 months because I had 6 transfer credits. 24 months is long but worth it :)
  10. Wow!!! You were very dedicated and determined! That's very inspiring!!!
  11. I mean what school? Lol
  12. Hi Kari what nursing program do you attend??
  13. Don't go to Gurnick. Have you ever visited the school before? It's a mess!!! The generic entry is what you will be in then since you don't already have a bachelors degree. All together with prereqs its 36 months. They only accept 44 students a year. It's really competitive, that's why it's good to study for the TEAS early. Do you have any classes to transfer?
  14. i just recently moved from fresno but you dont have to be a LVN to get into their nursing program. just make sure when you apply that you do extremely well on the TEAS. you only get three tries for their program ever so do your best. are you wanting to do the generic entry or the accelerated???
  15. Thats great to know!! I am excited for you, im so ready to start now lol
  16. I will be done march 2014 and i go to Kaplan college
  17. Thats great!!!! im excited too!! school starts sept 19th but since my credits transfered i will start on dec 5. that gives me time to put money back for emergencies and what not. when will you finish??? im so happy for you, congratulations!!!!
  18. mrscseaton, how is it going so far for you??? i got into my program =)!! hope all is going well with you
  19. I wouldn't know but have you tried fresno or clovis adult school?? I saw that you sent a friend request on here to me but it won't let me except it and i can'tsend a private msg
  20. I agree with BGax, and i know exactly what you mean. Some will attack if they see the words for profit. It's good to know you enjoy your school bgax. I wish you all the best and i will keep everyone updated.
  21. Mrscseaton, you have to keep me updated and i believe you will do just fine with the interview. I hate typing on my phone because it thinks it knows everything, and i have to keep erasing. Super annoying lol Aachavez, what school do u attend? And yes, cc's are good at having waiting list.
  22. Are you excited!?!? Are you going for lpn or rn?? I was selected as an alternate but I'm still excited about it :)
  23. No I'm not in Florida, I'm in California. I'm going to Kaplan college this fall but relocating to Nevada. Is Florida where you are?
  24. Same here, i will be attending one in September. Didn't have to do too much research, only because i already attended the school before for another program. Good luck on everyone's journey :)
